for this project i will be using the list on the cwcki to calculate the amount of money that Chris would receive for selling his games at gamestop for cash, assumed with the gamestop membership.
(link to the article i used: https://sonichu.com/cwcki/List_of_Chris's_video_games )
i will not be including digital downloads, obviously Chris cannot gain money from those. Also gamesotp does not have many games listen so i cannot count them. This is a very limited list so feel free to make additions in the replies.

there are some that count systems and some dont. i had a lot of issues with the gamestop site so there will be some error

heres the breakdown by system
N64: $73.20
Gameboy advance: $91.08
Gamecube: $132.95
DS+DSI: $201.05
Wii: $118.81
3ds: $ 240.10
Wii u: $98.71
switch: $245.61
genesis: $10.28
dreamcast: $66.04
playstation 1: $37.84
playstation 2: $22.39
playstation 3: $122.72
playstation 4: $139.49
PSVITA: $112.39
Xbox one: $106.70

and this brings us out to a grand total of....
TOTAL: $1799.36

remember this the next time Chris demands donations for basic needs.

see file attached for full breakdown

At GameStop? With all of that? Probably $10 and a slap in the face. And Chris selling his games? Good luck with that.
i mean i ran it thorugh the actual gamestop site, and he could make more taking it to a smaller gamestore. its just interesting to analyze roughly the amount he could make if he legit needed money, like when he says they need donations to eat.

That collection of Dreamcast games could easily fetch $400 or more on eBay if you are patient. Probably more if you pieced them out. Same for the Sega CD collection.

In fact, the same for a lot of these.
yeah i was making kind of a baseline, like if the family is starving or he has to pay for medical emergencies.

He'd be better off selling them on eBay, assuming he could open up a new account there. Of course he'd also have to add some sort of signed Certificate of Authentication that the game was, indeed, once in his possession. Based on how much money :epik: s and fanboys have paid for his "art," I'm sure he could make some decent bucks.

Chris is clearly well fed.

The question being how many of those games still work. After the fire, we know he probably kept any that weren't 100% destroyed, and i bet some of them have warping or damage thats not visible without trying to play them. not to mention general dust and neglect.
that is a fair point and i did not consider it. Maybe if he ever reveals all his games i can make a new list and calculation.

fair enough
You could salvage this thread, just drop the GameStop angle. That’s a pointless source of income for a guy that has the ability to sell empty soda cans for something like $20 a piece.

Personally I’ve always been curious, but too lazy, to tally up all of the extra income Chris made when he was in hardcore sales mode a few years back. For a good six months he was pulling in a solid average of $1200 a month. Then he just stopped when somebody started giving him money for nothing.

Also worth pointing put when he tried to sell 23 games in 2010, gamestop only took 6 of them since the rest were in poor condition. Given his terrible living habits and tendency to buy bargain bin trash, most of his "collection" is just more mass in the hoard.
