Serious Question can a lowcow do things that earn self respect.

Let's give a random most likely fictitious example

A stereotypical cow
A furry/brony weeb transtrender troon in 2015 who was a fat ABDL, degenerate.

Fast forward to 2021
The lowcow doesn't post furry shit.
You find out that they deleted Twitter/Facebook or purged the accounts
New accounts pop up you see then going to the gym, working a normal job, save up for a home/car and even see them with a Girlfriend or boyfriend if female.

Should we call these people reformed cows?

Nah we call them people, if they abandon their cow past and understand the mistakes they made theres nothing left for us to do.

In theory, yes.

In practice, no. The reasons for this are myriad, but usually boil down to pride, stubbornness, autism, basic stupidity, lack of self-control, some form of mental retardation, and/or "fuck you, mom and dad!"

It is possible, but it's extremely rare as most cows lack self awareness.

Remember that kid who used to upload videos of himself ranting about Sonic and other retarded shit? Eventually his parents deleted his YouTube accounts and made him do his homework and now he's a somewhat normal member of society.

There is a path away from degeneracy for many cows, but the harsh reality is that the vast majority will lack the mental capacity and necessary willpower to go from lolcow to a contributing, albeit eccentric, member of society. For every ILJ, Chris-chan, and Ethan Ralph, there are folks who can recover from their previous conduct if they'd just do one or more of the following:
  • Get a job, enroll in university, or learn a trade (NEETs)
  • Complete basic hygiene tasks daily (Shower, brush teeth, deodorize, comb hair)
  • Learn to cook, to exercise, to hold a conversation, to manage money, to set boundaries
  • Read and watch something other than manga and anime
  • Consider painting/drawing still-lifes and landscapes or writing a short-story collection instead of cringeworthy comics and fan-fiction
  • Go to a medical doctor, see no-bullshit psychologists and psychiatrists, take meds as prescribed, go to rehab(?)
  • Consider moderate political, identitarian, sexual, and religious beliefs
  • Don't believe every goddamn thing you see or read on the Internet; don't assume people on the Internet are your friend
  • Don't advocate or otherwise endorse pedophilia or bestiality; stop being a sex-pest
  • Use the Internet only for essential business only
Granted, some people just need to wipe their online presence and become a hermit or seek in-patient commitment due to the threat that they pose to themselves or others.

One of the big reasons that people become cows to begin with are that they're incredibly fucked up and show no signs of change (or lack the self awareness to even realize they need to change). If there's a cow that actually wants to become better then yeah, definitely. Unless they're legit a criminal then fuck em

Anyone who becomes a Lolcow probably can't live without the level of attention that being one entails. A cow ceasing their activity either means:
  1. They found some other outlet for attention-whoring outside of the internet, OR under a different online alias
  2. They actually experienced some form of character development or progression that means they no longer desire notoriety
Sometimes #2 can come unwillingly, for instance if people just stop paying attention to them, or if they have some great humiliation that causes them to DFE in a panic and go down a path of introspection.
