Yeah, those are also the five Gino Vannelli songs I can name off the top of my head and I grew up in the Montreal area (where he's from).

"Black Cars" is an excellent song for summer car meets.

Staying on the subject of MuchMusic era CanCon icons, name a (Lawrence) Gowan song that isn't "Strange Animal", "Criminal Mind", "Moonlight Desires" (often played on classic Degrassi) or "Cosmetics" (the "High fashion model magazines/portraits of ancient beauty queens/everything for the girl next door" song whose video featured Gowan playing piano on the moon).

My next door neighbor actually has a vinyl called Great Dirty World which has Moonlight Desires. Such an excellent song.
