Freedom of Speech is great, it allows me to see what stupid shit people say!The conventional wisdom is too much gore or incitement can be harmful. Personally, i think stupid people should be able to say whatever they want.

I think we can all agree that child porn should be banned, most people believe in some form of censorship at a basic level except for degenerate libertarians. On the other hand, at what level is porn acceptable? I think most people can agree that nudity can be tasteful and artistic under certain circumstances and even the whores and prostitutes of the world don't deserve a death sentence. Speaking of death, why is it okay for us to look at images of gore when it clearly is a violation of someone's privacy? Very few dead people can consent to photos being taken and shared of their own corpse. And what about ideas? Nazis and communists both express views that basically boil down to I want to take away the freedoms from a group of people I dont like not limited to murdering them and their families, but them saying that is far different than actually doing it. And why can't I make death threats in jest to politicians? Why can't I say nigger anymore on websites like reddit, twitter, and facebook without getting banned? Can a nongovernmental entity really have the right to censor, can the government have that right? All of these questions and more can summed up in my book "op is a faggot for asking questions we all know the answer to"Not censoring but properly categorizing stuff helps a lot, some boundaries and compartmentalization are ok.
I don't think porn should be banned but that doesn't mean is healthy for a 10 yr old to be watching fisting videos. There's no shortage of fucked up content on this site for example but most people would use a Spoiler tag, thats good etiquette. If you click you know there's gonna be something nsfw there but thats your prerogative.
Thats ultimately my view, people shouldn't be censored but they shouldn't force their shit down everyone's throat either, the blurring of any boundaries and exhibitionism is why i hate faggots, trannies and furfags on social media. They purposely do everything so that everyone is exposed to their degeneracy. They make it unavoidable rather than something you have to look for yourself like it used to be in the past, nowadays you'd get porn without looking for porn.
That honestly sounds like they tried to do a Quentin Tarantino reference to sucking feet, but they did it as an excuse to sound degenerate without putting in a joke.I was watching Half Baked on Comedy Central over 10 years ago, and Bob Saget (RIP) did his little "I used to suck dick for coke" bit, but they censored dick with "feet". I found it almost as funny as the original, and the ADR was terribly done making it even better,
Only honest answer.I support censoring what I disagree with and not censoring what I agree with.
I agree those are funny ways to circumvent touchy topics, but burning books and violently repressing any opinion, whatever it may be, always leads to dark timesSome of the sanitized scenes in movies can end up being funnier. Shawn of the Dead had every instance of fuck turned to funk and The Big Lebowski had that "stranger in the Alps" scene make Walter look even more unstable.
It does not always work so this is not an endorsement for more censorship.
Perhaps censorship isn't the right word for this topic. Obviously book burning and information suppression is bad but it's in a different league from deciding what's appropriate for children to see.I agree those are funny ways to circumvent touchy topics, but burning books and violently repressing any opinion, whatever it may be, always leads to dark times
That's responsibility of each parent, being a control freak is the only thing you can and can't control.Perhaps censorship isn't the right word for this topic.
