He shouldn't HAVE to swim. The waters should just part before him so he can walk to China.

My guess is no. Plenty of non-autistics don't know how to swim. The Chandler family photos don't show any water related activities. Growing up with much older parents compared to other children, I'm sure they didn't have days at the water park or beach.

True. My dad didn't learn to swim until he joined the army.

It is sad, this seems to add to Borb's neglect. They may have never taken Chris to the Virginia coast and spent a day at the beach. Really, who hasn't had the chance to spend some time at the beach? Chris's life experiences really are impoverished.

He can barely bathe.

How's he supposed to swim when he can't mass debate without breaking a sweat, breathing in a pant and being exhausted after 30 minutes?

He can still probably wear a bikini and disgust a lot of people though.

Blubber aids buoyancy, so he probably wouldn't even have to swim.

maybe he is scared of water. like that is why he doesn't bathe either

Why would he need to learn? The immense amount of grease and oil on his skin can keep him floating above the water.

Yeah, the family photo's seem to show that Chandler days out were confined to department stores where more worthless crap and plastic shit could be bought, most likely at Chris' insistence.

As with so many thing's, swimming doesn't fall within Chris' spectacularly limited range of interests, so I'd be amazed if he could. If it's not Vidya, cartoons or fast food, he's just not that bothered.

I'm guessing most public swimming pools or beaches would have a sign such as the one above posted, which would probably be enough to ward him off permanently.

Y'know, when Chris is in the water, I bet you'd see that sheen on top that you get with broths.

Also, it's possible Chris has been to pools or gone to the beach. I've been to the beach a few times and I don't know if I have pictures of my trips.

This. Also I think that at the very least Chris can dog paddle. IDK probably too much faith in him on my part.
