I have seen some news talking about how Alberta separatism is a total nothingburger, and one article pushed the very interesting claim that "this year only one poll found more than 30% of people saying Alberta should leave"

Think about that for a second. Those are some disastrous numbers. Regular countries don't have 30% of normies randomly selected in the streets for surveys saying yes they would like their state to secede. It's impressive cope.

And that's even after having the media go on about how it's a bad idea, and most people not even taking it seriously. If you were to poll people and ask if Alberta will even have the referendum, a good portion would say no. Once the referendum becomes real, and if the Alberta government comes out with a step by step plan as to how they will leave and what trade agreements they will have with America - as long as the numbers aren't too alarming - the number of people for leaving would likely increase significantly.

And that's assuming that the polls aren't biased towards boomers and urbanites who would be more likely to answer phone surveys or street surveys and those are usually more liberal then the majority of Albertans.

Also I expect the liberals to lose their shit and start verbally attacking all Albertans for even thinking about leaving, with at least one dangerhair making a video that goes viral about how he will rape the daughters and sodomize the sons of Albertans and hang a rope around Albertans necks and drag them behind his Tesla Subaru. That extreme of hostility wouldn't go over very well if it gets that bad.

I mean it's working because according to this poll from 2020-2021, Canada has a higher loneliness rate than Chink countries like China and Japan (the poll had 23,004 respondents so it's not like those Canadian polls where they only poll boomers):

Canada is at 18 while Amerikkka is at 24, so not the progressive utopia people claim. Also let's be honest we're probably below Amerikkka in terms of happiness right now, since many of these studies are biased against Amerikkka while being biased towards a left wing country like Canada, yet they're barely below Canada. So one could only imagine the real rating for Canada.

Reminds me of the World Economic Forum's 2025 report on gender equality, Canada is 32th place, while Amerikkka is 42.

Keep in mind that a large percentage of WEF members are Cucknadian, so it's probably MUCH lower, since they also have every reason to inflate Canada's position and deflate Amerikkka's. This is why I find Quebec so fucking insufferable. They've had disproportionate control over all institutions in this country and have ran it into the fucking ground. This all started with that pinko frog Pierre. Yet they always LARP as 'based'.

I saw people praising the Quebecistani for the religious laws, even foreign right wing people praised them since they don't know what Quebecistan is really like. Realistically they'll only use bill C-9 to suppress Christianity and Judaism (the latter only so they can please the mudslims). The ONLY muslim group I can see them supressing are Muslim Uyghers if the CCP tells them to but besides that specific case no way they'll use it outside of Christians and maybe Jews.

It will *probably* be at least longer than the Anglo-Zanzibar War (under an hour) due to Canada's poor infrastructure but still be way shorter than Germany's invasion of Denmark (6 hours). However, I could see the Amerikkkans flying in a helicopter or plane above parliament hill and scaring the government shitless so they'd surrender that way.

The entire government is based around French primacy. It is the overriding concern for promotion in the Federal Government.

The French in Canada went from the Church to worshipping the idea of the French language. French is a religion to them, bi-lingual labelling is the tithe, it is the holy seal of approval.

Since the only thing "French" Americans approve of are its fries, how do you think Canada would fair with Spanish as its second language? It's still annoying to hear contractors speak a language I'm not fluent in, but they at least speak in broken English at the cash register / other societal functions. Demanding a Spanish speaking employee typically yields results but often with a significant delay, even in South Texas. I can't imagine designing a nation where you have two official languages, if you are going to the lengths to have an "official" language, just pick one, this isn't a president / vice president situation where you have a backup in case one dies (although zoomers and gen alpha are doing their damndest to obfuscate English). The US doesn't have an official language, yet everyone somehow understands the people with money speak English, so if I want to make money easily, I should speak English.

I just feel sorry for your population turning a darker hue while being forced to speak French by your government, while enjoying the cuck chair currently, is going to get proper fucked in short order trying to pick a fight with a third of global GDP (The US consumer).

No way was Eby going directly acknowledge the regional chief on co-governance. Instead the premier put the onus back on the Opposition.

I was only half joking when I claimed that BC would end up under native control because of all the land claims. But now if Alberta goes independent I fully see the natives banding together and taking full control of BC and making it independent.
