Canada is a failed state

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
You will never be a real province. You have no culture, you have no standards, your infrastructure is crumbling. You are a 19th century shipping lane twisted by politics and money into a crude mockery of confederation’s perfection.

All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back other regions mock you. The rest of the country is disgusted and ashamed of you, your neighbouring provinces laugh at your sub-national debt level behind closed doors.

Westerners are utterly repulsed by you. Hundreds of years of politics have allowed westerners to sniff out Ontarians with incredible efficiency. Even Ontarians who “pass” sound arrogant and self important to an Albertan. Your accent is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk Albertan home with you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your diseased, infected politics.

You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but all around you feel your infrastructure slowly crumbling, ready to crush you under its unbearable weight.

Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll re-elect the OLP, raise power rates, and freeze to death in the cold abyss that is Southern Ontario. The rest of the country will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll label maps with your Indigenous name, and every airline passenger for the rest of eternity will know a failed province existed below them. Your cities will collapse and go back to the forest, and all that will remain of your legacy is a pile of rubble that was unmistakably built by corrupt developers.

This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.

The CRA is probably gonna strike this April which will throw the government into turmoil that their purse strings get slightly pinched. But they'll like outsource the accounting to some terrible bad actors like China.

If one really wants to fuck with the elites, (The Trudeaus, Westons, Irvings, Rogers, Thomsons, etc.) then this is how you do it. CRA shutdowns could greatly disrupt their finances. Big Government needs big corporations and big corporations need big government. With police leaving the job in droves, all it would take is for some pissed off poor person who can't even afford rent to sneak onto Gaylon Weston' Jr's 100 acre estate in Caledon with a can of gas, and the fuzz wont be able to show up till an hour later.

The Canadian elite are due for a reckoning, and economic instability is the best way to light a match.

I know I'm being overly optimistic regarding a potential collapse, I just think it's been a long time coming, and the poorer the lower class gets, the more desperate they get as well.

It astonishes me to see how ignorant and downright stupid my generation of Canadians can be, and I am an older millennial for the record. I once got into a slightly heated debate with my sister's fiancé over the overturning of Roe v Wade, and he ignored every argument I attempted to make using evidence and rationalized his positions because, "muh fellings" so I don't even bother to engage him anymore. He hates the Freedom Convoy and (Alberta premier) for the same tribal reasons. These people lack any sense of skepticism and critical thinking, and I blame it on the degradation of the education system that has prioritized ideology over results over decades. You can partially blame that on teachers' unions becoming a political force as you can see in Ontario, for example.

At least a plurality of Leafs appear to have no grasp of current events or how the system works. Indeed, they assume that a benevolent leftist government and civil service is going to care for them and their loved ones from cradle to grave. They are blissfully unaware that our universal healthcare allows for private delivery via general practitioners, labs, etc. and get riled up at the very suggestion of allowing more private delivery out of fear of instituting "American-style"pay-as-you-go system. Hell, most of them are ignorant of the fact that many European nations have both public and private because of their myopia. Similarly, I read an article in the National Post that most Canadians do not even know what Trudeau's "Just Transition" is and how it can fundamentally transform the country for the worse and damage national unity.

Yet when you bring up these problems, you are treated like the village idiot for not parroting the government line. I have given up on this this group and simply just mock them by speaking to them in a patronizing matter because I find them completely unworthy of respect.'

Odin help us. Who needs to import more idiots from overseas when we have more than enough here?
Yeah, Millennials are actually the most retarded group of people I have ever dealt with. Zoomers are a close second, but I have met way more 20-25 year olds that would blow the current 30 year olds out of the water.

But even the youngest millenial is in his late 20's now.

To be honest, having some time to really think about this. I am pretty confident I'll be staying in Canada for a couple more years, living in basically the best part of Canada has spared me from most of the bullshit other Canadians had to suffer through and really gave me a lot of breathing room. The laws in Alberta is usually contrast to that of Quebec and many other places. Justin Trudeau's days seemed to numbered at this point, even though those who resisted his bullshit policies are often persecuted. Trudeau eventually did get pressured enough to withdraw many of his bullshit policies he tried to push on them. Eventually under the right circumstances, it won't be long until he is voted out. Then again, I am aware of the threat of election fraud. I still have to worry about the provincial election in May but there is a good chance it would go right. In the case it does go wrong I'd be more worried and prepare at a faster rate. After all, I still have to pay attention to the political situation in Canada. I don't want to leave the country but there is a chance I might have to, but I am pretty optimistic it's something I don't have to do anytime soon so far. If I can stay in Canada for many more decades, that would be amazing. Although kind of ugly, Canadian suburbs can be oddly beautiful sometimes. It just gives off a really good 1990s, 2000s and 2010s aesthetic.

Whether or not Justin's days are numbered depends entirely on normie sympathies in Toronto and Montreal. Even under a milquetoast retard like Erin O'Toole, the Conservatives carried the popular vote nationally. This was largely on the strength of their utter humiliation of all opposition throughout the west. But they did well enough in Ontario outside Toronto, and even made inroads in Atlantic Canada. But the Liberals absolutely handled the opposition in Toronto and Montreal. I am not confident Toronto and Montreal will turn against them, not unless things somehow get even worse. But I've been wrong before.

Absent catastrophic election reversals, I don't think Justin would resign under any circumstances. Even a vote of non-confidence in parliament wouldn't cause him to resign; it'd just provoke an election which his government may or may not win. Justin is just too narcissistic, too obsessed with his own celebrity and power to ever voluntarily call it quits. Even if the commission had delivered a report finding the government's actions unjustified, he still would've refused to admit any wrongdoing and rejected any calls to step down. Not that that would've ever happened, but you know...

Anyways the real critical issue is mass immigration, and the Conservative platform calls for it, too. (Although, I guess the war on oil and gas is a critical issue too, in my opinion second only to immigration). Their only criticism of the Trudeau government's immigration policies is that they don't think he'll be able to meet the targets. If PP will flood the country with just as many Pajeet slaves as Trudeau, does it really matter what the little colored bar says on CPAC broadcasts?

You think the millions of pajeets and third worlders are gonna stay in the cities forever? Fuck off you nimby ass motherfucker.
So, what's new in Canada? The Chinks rigged the elections? Yawn. Trudeau gets away with corruption and illegality? Yawn.

Nope. Same old, same old.
They investigated themselves and found no wrong doing. 100000 more pajeets for Gryffindor.

I know of a handful of people that came here in 2014-2017 who already fucked off back to their home country because they couldn’t deal with the high cost of living here.

Had one say to me that he felt lied to about Canada when it was being advertised to him. That it’s poverty issue is far worse than his home country.

Is the living expenses deal in Canada so bad, that it would make even Haitians and Venezuelans want to go back to their respective home countries?

It very much is. Besides, who wants to move to another country, to be an Uber driver? The Canadian economy has been struggling for years, hidden by the housing market. Our immigration scheme exists to bilk money out of foreigners. We over charge them for university, and dangled PR in front of them. Many of them pay out the nose for immigration consultants, which are just a scam.

Then we restrict the housing supply, because "muh greenbelt," hiking rent and property prices. While also subjecting them to the same predatory consumption tax scheme as everyone else. Also you're racist if you complain.

This is what I find funny about the establishment left in Canada: they act like they are on the right side of his history when they are clearly not. Much of what I see in Canada parallels what I see in pre-revolutionary France where the country is heavily indebted with a the third estate shouldering the tax burden. You can also add in inflation, rising interest rates threatening to homeowners and business, as well the opulent lifestyles of PMJT and the Laurentian elites to increase pressure. Hell, our government is paying the Americans to build air defense systems so that they can it donate to Ukraine similar to the French intervention in the Revolutionary War.

Speaking of which, you can also sprinkle in some of the pre-collapse Western Roman Empire now that the Canadian Armed Forces is considering letting non-citizens enlist. Granted, Canada's defense doctrine is basically to hide behind America's skirt, you can tell how demoralized a nation is when its own citizen do not even want to bother defending it. Soviet defector/former KGB Yuri Bezmenov warned the west of this forty years ago, but we did not heed him because we were too busy huffing our own flatulence after the East Bloc collapsed.

Oh, and Canada is on a real estate bubble all right. Maybe not on the level of current-year China, but I have heard comparisons to 2008 USA and 1991 Japan, the latter of whom never fully recovered to this day. It will be bad for everyone not working for the government when it finally bursts. The one thing that keeps me from being completely black-pilled is the knowledge that panem et circenses only works when food and entertainment are both cheap and plentiful--well, guess what? Food prices are skyrocketing and our entertainment is both shit and a luxury less are able to afford. I do believe that Canadians are gradually catching on to the sordid state of affairs in this nation. Some like Tamara Lich and others were willing to risk imprisonment to call out the system. There are rumblings that even the Liberal backbench is getting restless.

One important thing to remember is that there is no end of history, no diverse/equitable/inclusive utopia. People will eventually reach their limit with Trudeau and his main base is now just the most ardent TruAnons. He will leave office whether it be through the ballot or revolution because I see the patterns. The government may feel vindicated, but they ignore the anger, frustration, and pain of its citizens at their own peril.

As someone who lives and works in the GTA, there is absolutely zero reason to live here if you are working remotely. Scarborough is a fucking cesspool of niggers, Tamils and chinks and dilapidated housing but desperately trying to be relevant. Downtown is millennials who don’t know what fucking gender they are and live on soy milk and false outrage.
If I could work remotely I would be so fucking far from this shithole my head would spin.
Rather funny that despite these demographics Toronto somehow elected a milquetoast conservative literally named John Tory, I guess the millennials and pajeets don't vote in municipal elections.

The legacy media (as outfits like Rebel and True North call them) has been part of the Ottawa establishment for decades now and view themselves as kingmakers in all levels of Canadian politics. I imagine that is the main reason why they have such a rage boner for the late Rob Ford and his brother, Doug. Both ran their campaigns on a populist platform, which is a massive faux pas far as our Laurentian overlords are concerned so the media constantly excoriated them. Granted, Dougie destroyed much of his credibility with his base during the COVID lockdowns and the Freedom Convoy, but that didn't make the media hate him any less. You also saw it in their coverage of the Freedom Convoy, which was a slap in their face because it shattered the illusion that Canada was a progressive utopia...

...though a trip to East Hastings in Vancouver would accomplish that as well.
Funnily enough the comission on the subject blames almost all of it on the cops and Doug Ford. Like clockwork you might say

and that is inherently the problem with Canada. Immigration is fine if they share similar values and culture. Trying to integrate vastly different cultures and belief systems has never worked before in history and it will not work now.

I heard a story today of a Tamil immigrant who shit in a hole outside in their country and when they came here they were so confused they covered the apartment floor in dirt and was shitting on the dirt pile.
I know this story is mostly accurate because I see similar examples everyday in my work.
My parents rent out a second house in a town with a second-rate university and community college, one time we had a tenant from some African shithole who sprinkled water on the floor before sweeping it. Turns out he was used to some hardpacked dirt floor where you needed the water to keep the dust down. Most of them aren't quite that dumb but there's always some. My dad asked him to leave for breaking a fan and some other shit.

Honestly, I have only met one TruAnon in real life and they were just as one would imagine: a mid 40s white woman with no kids, works as a “social media marketer”, obsessed with all things Disney and currently dating a tranny because no sane man wants to deal with a stabby white woman.

It’s something I notice to be the case with the majority of TruAnons in real life; they have no investment in the future past their lifetimes, so they see the government as a boyfriend and baby daddy.

Unfortunately, the rest of the Canadian population is stuck paying for their poor life choices.

Leafland high school teacher gets marched out of his workplace for suggesting that native Canadian children in the Residential schools died of poor living conditions and tuberculosis, as opposed to the popular narrative being peddled currently.
His point wasn't even outright denial of the established narrative of present year, but rather "hey, we have a difference of truth opinion, let's talk about it."
Nope, straight to a suspension within the hour after a complaint was made, leading to him being turfed out of his job when he continued to excersize his democratic right to free speech.

After four decades as a teacher, Jim McMurtry was fired Tuesday for daring to speak out.

He first fell foul of authorities for speaking about the Kamloops Indian Residential School and for saying things not in line with official ideology.

Then he further transgressed by refusing to be silent when he was suspended. He criticized the school board, the process and the people behind his suspension.

It is quite likely that McMurtry would have a job today if he agreed to be muzzled, if he abrogated his right to free speech and if he had followed orders. Because his failure to do those three things is getting him canned.

The conclusion to a report that recommends his sacking is sparse, definitive, and chilling in its implications.

“Given Mr. McMurtry’s assertions that he will not be ‘muzzled,’ that he has a democratic right to speak, that he will not follow directions, it is clear that Mr. McMurtry’s employment can no longer continue,” says the conclusion.

And there you have it: If only he had followed orders and shut up.

The long and rocky road that led to McMurtry’s dismissal hearing began in 2021 during a Grade 12 classroom discussion in Abbotsford, B.C., concerning the just announced news of 215 unmarked graves at Kamloops Indian Residential School.

A student said priests had murdered and tortured the children at the school and then left them to die in the snow. McMurtry pointed out that most children at residential schools died from disease, primarily tuberculosis.

“I wasn’t trying to be inflammatory,” said McMurtry in an interview. “It was one comment. It was not done with callousness.”

It took one complaint, and before the hour was out McMurtry was being frog marched out of the school.

It is a horrifying and appalling fact that a large number of residential school children died from TB in overcrowded, unsanitary conditions and without basic medical care. However, the Abbotsford District School Board would have us hide this disgrace not out of shame — which would at least be understandable — but in the name of some “truth,” which is incomprehensible.

A report from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission highlights that this deplorable situation was well known, quoting documents in the National Archives of Canada that said: “As many as half of the aboriginal children who attended the early years of residential schools died of tuberculosis, despite repeated warnings to the federal Government that overcrowding, poor sanitation and a lack of medical care were creating a toxic breeding ground for the rapid spread of the disease.”

One would hope that this truth would be taught in every school. But that’s not the truth the Abbotsford District School Board cares about.

Its report said, “Mr. McMurtry’s personal opinions regarding residential schools were seen in contradiction to the truth and reconciliation work that is currently underway in the District.”

Apparently, McMurtry’s truth, backed by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, isn’t good enough for the school district who have another, different truth.

One can almost hear the school district quoting Pontius Pilate: “What is truth?”

McMurtry was suspended and then, over a year later, had the audacity to speak out about the unfairness of it all.

This, of course, got him in more trouble. Now he’s accused of “flagrant disregard” for his employer. The impact of his comments on students could be “unethical and immoral,” claimed the school district.

If only he had followed the expected “lines of communication,” as was demanded of him, he might still have a job.

But what does McMurtry know? He only holds a master’s degree in the history of education and a doctorate in the philosophy of education with a specialty in Indigenous history.

“I’m a Canadian,” McMurtry said in the interview. “I’ve a right to freedom of conscience. I don’t understand any of this. How can they do this to me?”

McMurtry said “woke dogma” was dominant in schools and needed to be challenged.

“This woke indoctrination (is) as offensive as any totalitarian ideology that has ever been pushed. People use ideologies to further their own interests, this isn’t new. What is striking is that in schools they are presenting only one side.

“There’s people who believe that Canada is systemically racist and that all our ancestors were monsters. And I’m the person who is saying, ‘Well, let’s debate it. Let’s look at it.’

“Teachers are walking on eggshells on all sorts of issues. Teachers need to stop now and say, ‘Enough is enough’.”

McMurtry said he was concerned that NDP MP Leah Gazan recently announced that she wanted legislation that might target people like him.

“Now the NDP wants to have people like me labelled as denialists and guilty of hate speech,” he said.

The report into his conduct recommended that he be “terminated for just and reasonable cause.” But his firing is neither just nor reasonable.

And that’s the truth.

In other news, the long awaited day is upon us.
The Canadian government is introducing a digital id in order to make boarding flight more convenient. But don't worry, it's completely voluntary, the Honourable Omar Aghabra repeatedly said so.

They do this in most airports and borders now. If you land in the USA you are required to have a picture taken of your face in some airports.

@Yttrium
That's very strange, TB is the commonly accepted cause of the deaths, even an article like this one from "Canada's History" which beats the activist drum on the issue says that it was disease and neglect that killed them. The woke can't keep their dogma straight because "indigenous knowledge" gets in the way (if I presume the identity of the complaining student rightly).

So…

Pointing out that Residential schools were hotspots for TB is now hate speech, even though that’s one of the many things that the activists point out as being a “genocide method”?

Fucking hell, the government can’t keep its story straight. Next thing you know, pointing out the poor hygiene conditions of those schools will be considered hate speech
