I don't see him explicitly mentioning Carney, and based on their platforms it sounds more like an endorsement for Polliever.

Frankly I'm hoping Trump decides that annexing Canada will be a useful way to distract from Ukraine and all the other stuff going on.

Calling it now, Cons will do well in the polls from the youth vote. They might not win big, but there will be enough little victories (a mini wave) that the media will winge about it. I think many will be blindsided by how many vote conservative.
 
I don't know why people (here and elsewhere) are hoping for con victory. Both major parties hold the exact same neoliberal core ethos that has raped Canada. I can't see con majority/minority changing our fucked economy. I'm sure he'll give a few Based soundbites for the youtube grifters to put in to their 895th "SJW OWNED!!!!" videos, but average Joe will still be making $20 an hour renting a $1,500 room in a $3m house he shares with 80 jeets.

Because it sends the message to the laurtien elites that they better fucking change their mind or they will get fucked.

Most rebellions end up in failure and lose but the state changes their policies because they don't want deal with more rebellion.

Replacing elites you don't like with elites you do like doesn't solve the problem, it just changes the face.
 
You know what's funny with those leftists. Is that you cannot criticize immigration ever. They begin using full on capitalist arguments about GDP needs immigration. All over Reddit on Canadian subs as soon as someone says we need to reduce immigration to bring housing under control you will get progressives going on about muh GDP.

They are all lying fags just trying to muddy the water of discussion. They start to defend immigration to protect GDP and then state to fix housing we need to build more (impossible) or because of NIMBYs. All to protect their never ending immigration of brown people.

Democracy allows retards to ruin society. Logically we are fucked cause of the government of the past 10 years but they getting another majority just because they changed the leader.

A con minority would likely set off a full blown constitutional crisis. If you want legitimate change, you want the most destabilizing option.

It's still a step in the right direction. If voters show they prefer more conservative policies, it may influence the decisions made by the ruling party, and means that more conservative parties like the PPC or whatever may have a chance next election.
 
At times living here basically feels like a 3rd world country.

Their was a terrible recent ice storm in April that knocked out huge swathes of infrastructure around me.

That was 3 or so weeks ago. And to this day their are consistent and periodic electrical surges. Like fairly fucking intense ones at that. Blew my LED TV completely just this morning.
The old liberal government of the province privatized their electricity which you'd think could make it better. Nah it's been a million times worse
