You can argue that the international students looking for housing fucked up the housing market. Since people will buy up homes to rent out and the foreigners will pay more since they do not know better and the landlords know that since , post secondary schools are focusing on international students.

It's another one of those grifts that have come to define the Canadian economy. The closed all the factories and mills and opened Universities, thinking we would become a nation of wise, philosopher kings. Turns out we don't have the pop to maintain hundreds of small Universities, so we steal from international students, overcharging them but keeping these Uni's and the parasites who work there solvent.

I know a very smart man at university. If there’s a 100 spots for the most strict and intense fields of study. 10-15 will be given out to straight white guys. Every other spot is literally held for “special” people.

People in our own country are being pushed out in favour of mass importation of students. We are on track to take on 900,000 STUDENTS soon.

When they course correct soon, I truly believe they have decided it will be far right extremism or straight up communism.

I cannot for-see anymore band aids or half solutions in the system within the next decade that don’t lead to ruin.

There is no future Canada. I think everyone feels it. Can you even picture 20 years? 40?? Many younger people I talk to are straight up saying “yeah I have nothing to live for”

In one generation I’ve seen literally everything that was even slightly good be completely ruined.

We keep doubling down on ruinous policies and law, the only reason would be because they know what’s coming and it probably is inevitable. They literally have and still are trying to take all our gun rights away it’s happening bros.

I just, man I’m sorry for doomer posting so much here but I really don’t know if other people have been feeling the same way and getting those feel pins cools me down a little bit.

I was literally told all my life that we would be the best generation. We could do anything. That we are expected to continue the work of our society. There was care and love. Sense and logic. I hear and see none of this. Schools I KNOW weren’t this bad a decade ago are now covering up almost school shootings in small towns.

All of these real issues exist and we can’t talk about none of them. I will be arrested. I have started my adult life and I will be thrown away and have my assets stolen and bank accounts frozen.

I’ve been at my limits for a while, and I know if I am OH BOY. Just wait until other people start to actually break.

The world I find myself in truly is the worst it’s ever been for all of humanity.

The thing is compared to the literal shit holes of the world Canada is really good. Example Most places in Canada have clean drinking water.
My friend told me (he gradate from one of acclaim schools in Canada) that Chinks and Pajeets came to study in Canada because they have like a SAT where it determines where you going be in the future forever (if you do bad you get shit job only). A work around for those who do bad on those test is going to a foreign school (like the US , Canada , Europe ) and that degree will count to get into better jobs.
