I get nearly nothing

Many moons ago when I had babies, one of my kids was born with a physical disability caused by medical malpractice (in my opinion) regardless, their father was a POS and I was a poor judge of character so I ended up doing it alone at the beginning. I was working and when I needed to take time off for Mat leave, the government wouldn't even assist to top up my wages so I could pay my rent. Maybe if I was a nigger it would have been different.

However there is a limit to how much Gold you could buy per day (around 10,000 dollars worth) before you're forced to report it to the CRA but it seems to be recorded by the CRA regardless.

My child went to take out a couple thousand dollars in cash to buy a used vehicle. The bank questioned him like the fucking FBI as to what he was doing with the money, why he needed it and then tried to tell him he could only take out 3k a day. They were putting up barriers everywhere just for him to take out his own fucking money.

Consider how trivial it actually turned out to be for the bank to just debank anyone and sieze crypto wallets without any oversight or review

We’re getting used to so-called “transgender” craziness. It no longer raises eyebrows when we hear about a man “breaking” women’s sports records or joining a sorority. We’re disgusted but shrug when we learn that a swim club is allowing a 50-year-old man who identifies as a teen girl to compete against and share a locker room with actual teen girls. We meme about the crazed man screaming at a hapless store clerk, “It’s ma’am!” But sometimes…sometimes the level of cultural delusion is still so shocking that it bears noting. Such is the case with the Vancouver police’s struggle to identify the suspect in a sexual assault.
The Transit Police in Vancouver are seeking the public’s help in capturing a person who sexually assaulted a woman at a train station last year. Here’s the suspect’s description:

The suspect is described as 30 – 40 years of age, 5’10’ – 6’ tall, with a dark complexion, slender build, wearing a wig with long dark wavy hair, a light coloured t-shirt, black biker shorts, light coloured running shoes and a small cross-body-style bag.

Notably absent from the description is whether the suspect is a man or a woman. You might think that information would be useful because either descriptor excludes the other 50% of the population. If you want to find someone, excluding those who cannot be responsible is a good way to go.

Im telling you man-

Remigration.

1) Cap student visas, make them competitive. You only have 50,000 spots per year nationally- make people compete for the spots. This speaks to both the wish for growth and attracting talent, but ensures that we're not bringing in 500,000. Cap it to 10%, or 20% or 30% of the half million we're receiving yearly. Whatever you want, but back to what we had a decade and a half ago.

Colleges may protest against it and many may go under, but thats the free market- and the product that theyve been offering for the past decade or so just doesn't attract Canadians, so why allow them to extend the pyramid scheme to the 3rd world?

2) You can't remove citizenship once its gained, much to the chagrin of some people- but the next best thing is ending duel nationality. Pick a nation to belong to, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, or Canada. If you're here, youre here for the long run. Don't fuck around with this one, do not fuck around with someone living in Shanghai and using Canadian nationality to anchor their family here or fuck with the real estate.

Announcing that duel nationality was being ended would curb so many immigrants coming here, because as it stands from the ones I talk to- they want to stay just till the point that they get that, then return home. You can be specific with conditions as well. Argentina has duel nationality for only Spain and Italy, for example. The obvious equivalence here would be having something like that with the USA.

3) Make work visas contingently granted only on the condition that a local person cannot be found for a job position. We somewhat already have this, but its badly enforced (or frankly, not at all). It does seem like grads, while some skills are lacking, are generalist enough to train in a lot of fields, but just not finding jobs compared to someone from Nigeria with a resume highlighting a fake 10 years of experience in X technology. We badly need to work on properly enforcing this one, or just change away from a H1B visa type system.

4) Permanent residency should not allow someone to bring extended family over here, and should be contingent upon factors. Commit a crime? Youre out. Welfare? Not applicable, so you lose your job- either find a new one or return to India.
