freshly baked donuts?
PL but a friend of my mom used to own a Tim's franchise like 20+ years ago. They used to have fresh baked donuts but it logistically became too problematic, if your baker couldn't show up at 3am for whatever reason you'd be SOL. Basically any large chain with baked goods does it this way now, you're never going to get a good donut unless it's someplace local.
The timmies pizza shit is so cringe that I almost couldn't believe it when they introduced it. It's a clear sign of a company that has no idea how to further grow or monetize itself.
Tim's gimmick has always been to constantly cycle through novelty items. Another thing franchisees fucking hate to have to deal with, incidentally.

Promo items used to be slightly different cookies and donuts and maybe a new ice capp flavor. The last couple years it just feels like they're trying to ape the shittiest fast food restaurants like Subway and Little Caesar's. I swear one was selling fish near me in 2022.

Have they tried good coffee and freshly baked donuts?

I didn't realize that the Dutchie and the Walnut Crunch had been retired until they "brought them back" as retro donuts.

I found out when these specialty premium donuts weren't eligible for discounts and mobile offers, fucking everything up at the cash.

Fucking hate this bullshit healthcare system. It's just endless waitlists. When I first applied to get into a facility, the intake clinician told me it'd be 4-6 weeks. That was bad enough, but something I was willing to work through. That was over 12 weeks ago. Now they just keep telling me things they didn't tell me when I first applied and I'm angry why. They also never give me any specific dates, just vague estimates in weeks that keep on extending. This is what my taxes are paying for. I know the system is under immense strain and 12 weeks is not really that much time in the grand scheme of things, but I just can't help but be frustrated when every single person in health care I speak to tells me different things. There's all these resources but none of them do anything at all. It's just words words words. The only real care I get is going the ER on average twice a week.

Apologize for the rant. There just has to be something better than what we've got. I'm not calling for total privatization, but there's gotta be some changes we can make to make health care more responsive to people in crisis.
Praying for you brother. That's fucking horseshit and you shouldn't have to deal with that Byzantine bullshit.

Worst thing about them to me is that they think the Canada owes them anything because (1) they paid tuition (2) they paid taxes (wtf their minimum wage job pays wut?) (3) they work minimum wage jobs (4) they pay rent.
Its not my fault that they got scammed by diploma mills, join the club. Maybe the prices they paid for tuition wern't worth it.

But don't take it out on the rest of society, basically.

In some sense, they bought into a false sale of goods (like most), but immigration is tough and they ought to realize that they lost out, that theyve overworn their welcome, unironically, and that now is the time to leave. Theres basically no sympathy from the local population, because they are actually a net drain on society.

Not through the taxes, but in completely fucking up the rental markets, job markets, and causing the nation to unironically get less and less safe.

They can go about saying "well its not my fault that youre not willing to do close-open shift at Walmart" but literally in every McJob you see them in, this is the contract theyve accepted and they basically eroded Canadian labour rights overnight. None of this stuff would have been normal even a decade ago, but now its the direct reality when you have millions clamoring for a handful of jobs and a completely saturated job market.

Even when it comes to jobs doing basic coding, doc center, help desk, etc- they flood the market, accept less of a wage, and have made contracting employees (with limited rights and clauses for horrible hours being accepted) becoming the norm.

Is it really true that Canada has a million "non-permanent residents" ("illegal immigrants", in plain English) that are just hanging around or doing whatever and aren't getting deported? You'd think they'd start kicking people out, but, you know, after shipping migrants in droves, maybe they want to keep their electorate around.

I don't know the exact numbers, but it's scary to me either way.

I mean tbh there's no incentive for them to act on the knowledge that they are making Canada worse, and return to their own country.

In a civilized country with a corrupt government, the local population would actively expel these elements through extrajudicial means, and the local population would have an understanding that as a critical part of the judicial system, they could act in certain ways as a jury to empower their fellow Canadians to act in the best interests of Canada. As the number of local Canadians in the nation with nothing to lose increases, I look forward to this sentiment taking root and gradually increasing until it eventually becomes encouraging on the nightly news more so than discouraging.

You purge them and the traitors that let these invaders in. Either mass deportation or there will be a civil war. The Liberals and NDP are counting on these savages to keep them in power forever.
CPC is counting on scammy Pajeet small business owners to be their new base.

In the words of Sven from TRS “Fuck your small business”

Except that all the good corporate jobs with with decent health benefits now go to Non-whites. Good luck getting a good dental plan.
Not sure how that would work. If govt is insolvent and it will be insolvent, first thing they do is cut health care and make it private. White people will get their own health care and corporate jobs usually come with group plan that doesn't distinguish race. Pajeets will never reach top of the food chain unless they are exceptionally smart and talented. Most of the mid managers will probably be pajeet or some Asian. White people will still remain ceo and executives at the top.

lol, you wish it was only 1 million

Kicking people is bad optic. Actually, under trudeau, the size of border agency and enforcement hasn't grown whatsoever despite the growing migration and illegals. This is on purpose. They want to create the problem, so that they can come and save the situation. This is done by giving illegals pathway to citizenship. Yes, you heard it right. You can become a citizen the moment you land in Canada.

If you think that what's happening in USA is unreal, just look at Canada. This country is just doing what Democrats WISH they can do at will.

This country is a fucking joke.

> be me
> need to get somewhere
> call an uber
> driver is a fresh import who is somehow is ubering in a tesla
> he doesn't know english
> he probably didn't get his license legit
> actually scared and think I'm going to die the whole ride
> get to destination and say "never again"
> repeat the next day

How exactly do these guys get Teslas to use as ubers? I don't actually understand how they manage that since they shouldn't be able to get financing. Is someone else paying them to uber?
