How exactly do these guys get Teslas to use as ubers? I don't actually understand how they manage that since they shouldn't be able to get financing. Is someone else paying them to uber?

They can technically "rent" Tesla for $1000 and Uber to make "$3000" a month. For example, let's say you turo or use these monthly subscription services for Tesla and other makes and models. You pay about $1500 a month for this and let's say you Uber like crazy and somehow manage to make $3000. You still have $1500 left over. Bonus with borrowing a car is that you don't do any maintenance and no insurance cost. You can even technically write off the cost of borrowing the car.

I am going to guess its some sort of grey market scheme like this one (A). Someone rents their car and identity out. It shouldn't be a problem for these companies to identify many of the responsible parties by analyzing which accounts are doing the impossible (driving 24/7) which the other heavily regulated industries are not allowed to do. Taxi and truck drivers have a limited number of hours in a given period that they are legally allowed to be on the road.

The illegals rent an account from a legitimate driver and take 85% of the profit. The remaining 15% goes to the account owner.

At the time of Laken Riley's murder, the wife of the murderer, Jose Ibarra, said that he had been driving for Uber Eats and DoorDash. Both Uber and DoorDash denied ever employing Ibarra. This means that he was likely driving under another person's account in a similar manner to the Chinese illegals we interviewed.

The public safety risks here are astounding. This broken system could allow criminals like Jose Ibarra to gain close access to the homes of thousands of Americans.

Furthermore, these illegals told us that they live in fear of CCP retribution in the United States. Chinese illegals who are illegitimately working on these platforms could be coerced to engage in espionage activities, including spying on people or neighborhoods during deliveries or even bugging homes.

Senators Marsha Blackburn, Mike Braun, and Tedd Budd have sent letters to Uber Eats and DoorDash demanding answers.

About ten years ago I was complaining about hearing foreign language three times during one-hour walk (in Moscow) and a swede told me "living in Stockholm I hear Arabic more often than Swedish". Enjoy racial jungle, stalker child.

government subsidies? I'm sure pajeets are treated the same way over there as somalis are here in minnesota.

I'm not too sure about ubers, but there's a couple taxi companies which use Teslas and claim to be more cost efficient.

This is a case of, "its not my problem till it is" the musical, or reddit in a nutshell.

People may call me biased, and I am, but when I think of Canada, I think of people who 4 years ago were completely gung ho to 'other' those who protested covid, the truckers, etc.

I think of people who were happy to erase Canadian culture for a multicultural one years ago as well.

I think of people who called Harper a racist for saying we needed background checks on people coming from the middle east, etc.

I think of the people who enthusiastically voted in Trudeau and let him get away with this stuff for near a decade.

My apologies to this guy if he was never one of those, but so many Canadians were (especially Indians and other minorities) that I just assume this is a case of "oh now they have sour grapes after enabling this shit for so long". Its a safe bet, until proven otherwise.

When I hear "oh things are bad now, who could have seen this coming, even I dislike this" I just roll my eyes. My nigga, you voted for this and now youre leaving??? Things arent so fun anymore???

Sucks but good riddance and yeah Indians need to leave. Canada is basically the same thing as Commiefornie (and the commiefornian exodus), but even more pozzed. I do tell more conservative or libertarian minded people to leave Canada, few are actually able to, and ironically, its the liberals who wind up leaving after making holes in the boat in both Canada and California. Thats what sucks about this situation and why liberals should never be tolerated to be in power in important institutions for long, if at all.

The places in the US with pajeets (academia, tech industry, the concept known as San Francisco) suffer just as greatly as Canada. Our only hope is that our favorite local apex predator, black people, will thin the pajeet population through predation of their cars, wallets, and women.

Canada, do you want the entire population of Baltimore shipped up to Toronto to clean up the place? I think this can be arranged.
