Canada is a failed state

I'm surprised at how low the Black percentage is. I thought Blacks didn't like Indians.
Note that the chart is about immigrants, not just Indians. Black people, specifically Africans, are as bad as Indians when it comes to exploiting Canadian immigration loopholes. There just aren't 1 billion of them trying to scam their way here which is why they're so under the radar.

Canada doesn't have much of a native black population to speak of, so I'm confident the vast majority of those black respondents are Africans who became PRs/citizens within the last decade or 2 and are actively encouraging their friends and family to come over on visitor Visas and just never leave.

Really, really needs to happen here, but unfortunately our university system is corrupt and wants a piece of the pie and that international tuition more than they actually care about society and education
They need to ban indian college professors. Main reason I dropped out. I was really sick of every other professor not knowing more than 20 words of english in in a job where your skill is communicating and explaining.

CBC executives, managers were paid almost $15 million in bonuses (archive)

Tait told the heritage committee that the public broadcaster was facing financial hardship and was cutting 346 jobs, including 205 vacant positions and 141 layoffs.

It's hard to say how much the average CBC employee makes, and even harder to predict the salaries of those laid off, but a somewhat recent CTF report (archive) indicates that a large (and increasing) number of CBC employees make upwards of six figures per year.
If we do some basic math and suppose that these 141 make around $100k at most, we find their combined salaries could add up to ~$14.1 million, which is suspiciously close to the total bonuses. Even if some salaries of those laid off are less than $100k, this would clearly still add up to a majority of the ~$15 million.

Some additional quotes of note:
Those records seem to contradict testimony by CBC president and CEO Catherine Tait to the heritage committee on May 7, when she repeatedly claimed that she had no idea whether or not bonuses were paid.

“Are you going to be awarded a bonus for 2023?” asked Conservative MP Rachael Thomas.

“After internal deliberations with the board of directors at our June board meeting, once we’ve had a chance to present the audited financial statements, there will be a discussion,” replied Tait.

“I am referring to fiscal year 2023, which ended in March 2024,” said Thomas.

“We have not issued any performance pay,” replied Tait.

This bitch makes more than our beloved PM:
Tait is paid $497,000 annually with her CEO bonus calculated at an average of 20% extra or about $100,000 annually.

If that's not enough:
Overall subsidies for the CBC this year are worth a record $1.38 billion.

Corruption. Plain and simple.

Parliament finally got interesting. You can see Trudy become increasingly enraged as it progresses after he has been rightfully mocked numerous times.

I linked to a highlight here:

Also notable is 44:08 onward, where Trudy goes on tirades in French. While you can't hear his voice, everything about his facial expressions and other body language shows he's absolutely seething.
I will take your word for it but i don't wan't to look at him, I am overcome with rage/disgust when i see/hear that demon.

Good luck, NFLD. Alberta only has so much money to siphon off, and there’s a lot of pigs with their snouts in the trough before a bit trickles over to you guys. Maybe learn 2 economy?
This is really about Quebec. Quebec gets equalization because their hydro revenue is not counted toward the formula, and the Government of NL is making the argument that their offshore oil revenue should be treated the same way. If Newfoundland's oil revenue were not factored into the formula, one would assume Alberta's won't be either, meaning the feds would either have to cough up the money for the program or they'd have to do away with it.

If I were NFLD, I would never stop sneeding about how they got screwed over by Quebec on that hydro situation. Imagine where they would be today if not for that.
