Alberta claim ms to be a fat-free province so we probably won't have a rat infestation, but there will likely be a lot of poop - which might become part of our nationally known reputation.
Reminds me of the time Alberta had -30/-40 degree weather in January and people in Alberta were warned about rotating blackouts because they decided to shut down coal plants before this happened. Now I and many other people around Calgary forced to conserve water because Calgary most likely fucked up their pipes. On top of seeing lakes with water levels so low boating is no longer possible in Alberta. The only other time I had to conserve water in my lifetime was in 2013 during the Alberta Floods.

I live in the outskirts of the GTA, the jeet horde is all encompassing and never ending.
That is due in part to Canadians increasingly investing in real estate and inflating the property bubble. Fewer invest in businesses to buy new equipment and increase productivity. Canada has become much less competitive as such and often has to "incentivize" companies to set up shop in southern Ontario via corporate welfare. Similarly, Canada's onerous regulations at all levels and taxation make it less enticing to start a small business unless you're a consulting firm with the right connections.
Fortunately they're just extending the Class 1 exemption to the same 40 countries they already have Class 5 reciprocal agreements with. List is here. It's largely EU countries. Notably Ukraine is on there and was one of the original ones they were allowing before now.
