Canada is a failed state

Campbell still got 16% of the vote.
Which, under a PR d'Hondt system, would have given the PCs 49 seats instead of just 2. So they would still have lost big, but it wouldn't have been a total annihilation. (See below)

Ironically, Trudeau might have felt better about the upcoming election if he managed to ram through proportional representation, because doing so would almost certainly benefit him - and the smaller parties. (I compared the 1993 and 2021 elections below.)

1993 (source)
  • LPC (42.86%): 127
  • Reform (19.42%): 57
  • PC (16.59%): 49
  • BQ (14.01%): 41
  • NDP (7.13%): 21
Votes 13179210 of 19906796 (33.80% abstention).
The next party to obtain a seat would be Reform instead of LPC for 20135 votes.
2021 (no source, but you can go here)
  • CPC (34.05%): 115
  • LPC (32.92%): 112
  • NDP (17.99%): 61
  • BQ (7.71%): 26
  • PPC (4.98%): 16
  • Green (2.35%): 8
Votes 16879985 of 17209811 (1.92% abstention).
The next party to obtain a seat would be PPC instead of LPC for 2424 votes.

Note that my calculations set "spoiled and blank votes" to zero. I suppose if I really wanted to, I could be more specific. But why bother?

Just when you think you've seen it all BC has created rooms just to smoke fentanyl and meth in.

The tolerance of and outright encouragement of degeneracy in Western countries has become absolutely unbearable.

Just think of how Canada's failed state socialist healthcare system operates with fixed funds where they are making decisions on what to prioritize and instead of treating cancer in the young they choose to allocate capital to junkies killing themselves.

They should just remodel the smoking rooms to vent in helium and lock the doors.

I have to admit, the Bloc propping up the Trudeau Liberals was not on my bingo card. They have more to gain in Quebec from an election than any other party, even including the Conservatives. Then again, when the Conservatives win their inevitable majority, all opposition parties will become irrelevant for at least four years, so it may be in their interest to exert whatever influence they can for as long as they can.
I'd laugh if the Bloc are planning to hoodwink Trudeau by making him think he'll win the no confidence vote, so they pick up more seats in the snap election without Trudeau resorting to other tricks.

Also I'd like to believe that some Liberals would choose to vote for no confidence and save their home country

The government will never work towards your wellbeing when they can accrue power or maintain control. Given the choice between making things better for people and staying in charge, you know what they'll focus on. After all, "How can I fix things if I'm not directing our goals and resources?".

I'm starting to think, more and more, that leading the country should be a short term thing, performed by a larger pool of people. Maybe a random selection process, among people meeting a specific standard (a level of education or experience), and those selected get a turn for a short time while determining what needs to be worked on, and focus is placed on responsibility and accountability rather than popularity and largesse. If results were what mattered, Trudeau would've been bounced out on his ass a year or 3 in.

Reading r/Canada for the schadenfreude is a new hobby of mine. For years Canadians have been incredibly smug about how liberal they are how Americans are awful, racist hicks, so seeing them all destroy their society just to virtue signal and then immediately heel turn and become racists overnight is hilarious and well deserved.

The downfall of Canadian "society" must accelerate so they can Build Back Better™️

Government positions should unironically be determined by lottery. Or do the monarchy thing where if shit gets bad enough the monarch's life is on the line.

Democracy is good but universal suffrage is not -- I am convinced that not everyone should be eligable to vote. Make it an IQ test or some other evaluation of knowledge to gain voting rights.

Good luck with that. Whoever is in power just rigs the selection criteria to favor demographics most likely to vote for them. Easier just to disbar anyone who isn't physically fit, gainfully employed, and not receiving any type of welfare from voting. 'course, this also creates a system where the top 20% of the population basically runs the show. It could be worse, but you will have a ton of insufferable liberals in this number. Fortunately, a lot of the worst people in any country are some combination of fat or old, and this removes them from voting pools too. Literally a democracy of healthy, working class people not on welfare. If you can prevent parasites from somehow entering the voter rolls, it's about as good as it can get.

In an ideal world encode it in the constitution so it isn't changeable. We're talking about fantasies anyway.

They are more likely to vote out Trudeau for going too soft on Palestinians not sucking Israel's cock hard enough. Just look at that Anthony Housefather MP who was the main liberal guy outraged at Trudeau for inviting the Ukranian SS War Hero.

Canada couldn't even handle a 26 year old Pipefitter (Shane Marshall) throwing gravel at Trudeau.

Fuck Quebec. Fuck the French.

That is all.
And fuck Shit-in-the-street Singh and everyone that enables this faggot. How is he allowed to leave his house without a fucking helmet and a caretaker?

I don't have any other things to say about this pajeetard's recent announcement that aren't just me passively wishing him harm and misfortune, so I'll stop here.

Personally, I can say I've felt it building in me for a little over half a decade now. I was out in BC and saw the immigration and drug problems years before places like Toronto would face to a similar degree. They were always fucked being so close to East Asia; hell, look at their housing prices in the early 2010s. Those prices largely used to be an issue of vacant homes from foreign investment, but the proximity was a contributor.

I was out there for some graduate work, though I didn't stay long, and one of my most clear memories is of all the fucking student-run foreigner affinity groups/clubs they have in these schools and how nearly every brown person would keep to its own kind and never speak English unless the situation requires it to shittily attempt to bridge any language barrier. There wasn't a single unifying factor for the student body; not even the academia.

I was so used to the decent assimilating brown doctor growing up, so this was really jarring to notice. And there's no way anyone couldn't notice it.

That said,
is hilarious and well deserved.
:agree:

Three of Canada's most retarded political failures invite you to a longhouse spectacle of foreign interference.

In news that shouldn't surprise anyone, it appears that Trudy and the chihuahua (Champagne) are complicit in the Sustainable Development Technology Canada scandal.

It's worth watching in its entirety—it's not that long for parliament footage standards—but it starts getting really interesting around 12-14 minutes in. People need to take this information and never shut the fuck up about it until these faggots get set adrift.

Hey Canada is struggling. Instead of focusing on that, lets distract you with American politics! Doesn't Trump just give you the ick my fellow americans? What a fucking pathetic group of leaders we have.

Edit: speeeling

Are they even the same parties as Kamala?
Same panties maybe.

Most clean and green initiative.

Doesn't matter how big the pie is, all they look at is percent. Selling at a loss to max out market share and making it up on volume.
