Trudeau spoke at his fancy pants dinner and said he's proud to be a Canadian and that in this time, we all need to stick together, even on the "hardest days".
So he's not going anywhere this year.
I hated Freeland almost more than Trudeau because I can watch Justin speak for a minute or two but Freeland has always given the most crackhead inauthentic vibes, I thought she'd get arrested for possession while driving and be ousted. I sincerely did not expect her to turn heel on Trudeau in such a spectacular way but it very much is in the spirit of "oh, I'm fired? no, actually I quit so fuck you".
I 100% do not want Trudeau in office dealing with Trump. Trudeau loves to speak out of the side of his face to select crowds believing it won't be heard by the masses and he doubly loves to do it in French. In fact, Trudeau in French is several times a bigger asshole and so much more derogative towards certain groups in ways he really could not get away with in English if CBC showed him point blank in clear English saying some of what he has said. He cannot two face Trump. It literally won't work because his people are watching.
Its pretty fucked up that good ol Dougie has a better chance of saving us from Trump than Trudeau or PP. Yet, it makes perfect sense that a man from such a family as the Ford's would be the one to step up. I'd rather send our school bully to fight their school bully than the fucking theatre kid.
Trudeau has had extremely insular control of Canada and seemingly forgot all of the lessons in school we are taught about the high dependence Canada has on America and the effect America can have on us. In most other instances, he could just steam roll his controversies and issues because they were national affairs and his power is immense. He can't steam roll a decision Trump makes that directly effects us. He has to use diplomacy, of which he has never used as PM.
I'll accept PP because in this major crisis of the country, we can't afford to have America as an enemy right now. We might actually need a boot licker so we can have a few years to rebuild our own broken systems. We cannot "make Canada great again" because it's never been great and that's how we got here to begin with. You have to build a better Canada. We actually don't need an AI revolution - we need a second industrial where we focus away from carbon tax and immigration bullshit and into creating blue collar industry and manufacturing even if it means falling behind in AI adoption.
