The deep state, or really managerial-administrative state is pretty much entirely gen X at this point. It certainly isn't millineal, and Gen X is the generation that pushes the DEI shit. Yeah Millennials will take over as the next big consumer block and Gen Xers are an overall smaller voting block, but that doesnt change the fact that Carney (1965), Freeland (1968 ), and pretty much any politician you list, except the geriatrics, are literally Gen X. They are the ones with more of the managerial power at this point, and I would label the past decade as one almost entirely run by Gen Xers here.

The Liberals are better off then the Democrats, it may be possible for them to back off the more batshit stuff without it being a suicide move with their remaining base. I don't know if they will really normalize or just temporarily back off for the election, but it gives the illusion that theres a small shred of hope that things might get better even if the Liberals stay in charge.

Boomers and even older than boomers still have a stranglehold on power in America. Executive branch, Senate, Supreme Court majority, etc. and the Derp State. Kamalah lost big. It's 50/50 if the next dem candidate is millennial or GenX. I see no light between millennial and GenX globalist leaders except millennials are getting to the top a lot faster. The top side is becoming mixed, just like we can now blame all of Finland's ills on the millennials. Identical story of managed decline in Australia and the UK. Same parliamentary systems, same policies despite the geography and nothing to do with North American culture. An even longer list of GenX political leaders in those nations. But every one is interchangeable with Canada's in fact Carney is about to prove it and it has nothing to do with being GenX.

I'll point to Karina Gould as Canada's likely liberal future. It's bad enough they made this millennial dullard 'house leader' but party leader? Textbook smug Canadian liberal with no experience. Said he has no conflicts of interest but then said to the ethics commissioner he has so many he needs more time to list them all and create a plan to dispense with them. Also his fugly brit wife is independently wealthy aside from Carney so assuredely has conflicts too that are hidden in the UK's opaque system and a scheme to shift Carney's biggest issues to her.

While I hope our inevitable Election ends with the Libs getting BTFO’d, a part of me is legitimately hoping they stay in Power.

It’s the part of me that keeps the popcorn stockpile full up, mind you, but it’s there. Look no matter who wins the next Leafistan Election, it’s going to get worse before it gets any better. At this point, why choose the lesser evil?

Granted I’m west of Ontario, so I know my vote federally means fuck all. Least that wouldn’t change if the Americans finally start Manifesting some Destiny again…
