US could always just bomb the everliving daylights out of anything that moves in Canada for fun. At this point, the US hasn't annexed portions of Canada because it doesn't want to, not because it can't. I reiterate that the path to US intervention is to be so utterly irritating that the US can't just ignore Canada.

Could always try setting up advertisements across the border for fentanyl delivered cheap and get it on fox news.

The OP of this thread poignantly explained the problems canada faces. None of those problems are unique to canada, and are in fact, worse in europe and the united states.

There is only one suspect and one vehicle involved
The suspect is a 30-year-old man living in Vancouver
As for motivation, it's not clear yet, but police say they're confident this is not an act of terrorism
He was known to police"in certain circumstances", but the police chief says he can't comment on whether the suspect had a criminal background

Vardeh tells BBC World Service’s Weekend programme that the final live performance of the day, the main event, had just finished when a car drove through a narrow street lined with food trucks, including his, "completely straight, right through the crowd".

Yoseb says the vehicle was going about 100km/h (62mph).

The fact that they didn't identify the driver's ID pol traits or identity despite having him in custody, while definitively denying a domestic terrorist angle, certainly indicates strongly that the offender wasn't White.

Let me explain my reasoning

EU is full steam ahead in supporting ukraine, despite the americans already backing out. This is suicide
America is in a trade war... With china, the country that makes everything. This doesn't make any sense

CANADA
-is geographically distant from any wars
-is following america's lead into backing out of ukraine
-isn't in a trade war with china
-has pretty good relations with china
-supplies America with energy and natural resources (which will be cut off, if America ever tries to annex canada)
(Good luck convincing troops to go to war with canada with all the other present "threats" America is currently facing)
(America would sooner nuke israel, than send troops to annex canada)

Besides the jeets and housing bubble. Canada is in a pretty good spot.

Missouri has higher average income than Canada, and housing and the cost of living here is higher than California. Do the math there.

No cope you can bring up, which aren't even accurate (ie, China put sanctions on us as well, because fuck it- it's Canada), make up for that fact.

Even if we could immigrate to Europe easily if your grandfather / great grandfather didn’t come over from Italy or some Eastern Euro / Baltic country country (the only EU countries that do citizenship by blood) good luck getting EU documentation as they would rather bring in Jeet workers than their own diaspora.

Every major party leader has pledged to keep Ukranian Aid at its current levels at least

China has been dog piling on us with the US tariffs. While we may have better relations with them that's mostly because of the notable communist lovers in the Trudeau family (figuratively and literally)

We may supply some northern states with electricity, but if we ever do what Carney or fat retard Doug Ford says and cut it off the first thing they'll do if they don't declare war on us is start localizing their power grid, and any leverage we may have had will be gone.

If I'm wrong I'll admit it, but I bet this guy has previous convictions for crimes on random folks, and judges kept letting him out.
