Northern Perspective are pretty good since they actually go out and do homework and find proper interview subjects. Their main problem is that they're boomers, they're painfully naive about how psychotically ideological the average Canadian voter is and still insist that policies somehow matter even after the past election results.
Elev8's live podcast is pretty good too, they tend to be more cynical about how terminally retarded the country is. They overact a little too much in their prerecorded daily vids though.

Very few places make a good one. Costco makes the best poutine in the world in their food court, though. McDonald's I swear makes a half gravy half ketchup sauce and it is heretical.

There is a Canadian fried chicken place near where I live called Cluck Cluck's chicken that serves poutine with bits of fried chicken topped on it. I love it!

I like this guy. CanadaPoli, he was like a normie school teacher, but he's been radicalized by tranny propaganda into a civil war/TTD advocate (not really). He mostly just aggregates Canadian news, but he is pretty on the ball about it. He also streams with that Greg Wycliffe, who's diagalon adjacent, or something. He makes short content political comedy. Sometimes they bicker a bit. Its funny.

That NP dude is involved in the conservative party he even introduced the con MP at the local riding. Not a big deal editorially speaking but he's a true believer in the system which is absurd and I still suspect running as an MP one day. It's not like he's going to say "well now it's actually hopeless here you should GTFO". He's going to talk about how your vote and unceasing participation and consumption of rage inducing content somehow counts even though you just saw that it isn't going to do anything against the might of the CCP, WEF and artistocracy (not to mention the CBC).

They do a lot of volunteer work for the CPC but I think he's said he's ruled out running because of health issues and because his kid has special needs and it'd be too much of a distraction. They've also interviewed people from other parties and they routinely pushed back against the kinds of channels that DO crank out ragebait content. Again I think their shortcomings come from boomer naivete rather than partisanship.

It astounds me to see how many Eastern (and West Coast) Canadians are incapable of self-reflection as insulting Albertans is not going to cool separatist sentiments. It's doubly astounding how they only care about Alberta's resources when there is talk about separation because Alberta O&G is one of the few things Canada can leverage on the United States. While I am not a fervent separatist, I see the existential threat as a needed wake up call for Canada to address the structural issues plaguing the nation for 150 years. The Clarity Act allows for secession under certain conditions--namely that a referendum has to have a clear question and a clear majority. Once that is done said province, the federal government, and First Nations must come to the negotiating table to hammer out a deal.
Despite repeated claims to the contrary, First Nations do not have a veto and the numbered treaties would either transfer to the province or FNs can made a new deal. When you look at the exact wording of the treaties, it unambiguously states that the tribes permanently ceded the land. Was it a shit deal? Most definitely, but all they had to do was look south and see that this was going to be the best deal they were going to get. Some ignorant fools want to believe that they are the superintendent that the "Crown" is paying rent to, but the ugly truth is that they either wards of the state or vassals. The federal government basically pays to shut them up and run their little fiefdoms like third-world slums while the chief and band councils live like royalty. They have no military power to back up their threats--only empty words and tantrums.
Additionally, the federal government has little actual leverage. If they try to stall out secession through the 7/50, then it is proof that they never came to the table in good faith so Alberta/Saskatchewan can try to go the UDI (unilateral declaration of independence), which is messy from a legal standpoint. Oh, the feds could blockade the Trans-Canada Highway and rail lines, but AB/SK could just cut off BC and thus the rest of Canada from the Pacific. They allowed the armed forces to be undermanned, under-equipped, and demoralized for decade. What's ore is that they sent most of our equipment to Ukraine because they wanted to make a show of how righteous they were. The United States wouldn't be idle either. I doubt that they would want a civil war on their doorstep and while I am dubious on whether they'd recognize a sovereign west, I imagine they would use their immense diplomatic weight to pressure Ottawa into resolving the issue.
