They are building a Skytrain out from Vancouver to where I'm currently residing (until I save up enough money to leave this shit hole for good) and it os crazy how long the time line is for building it. It isn't a new line, it's just connecting it from the city over and despite that it is going to take ages for them to finish it. By the time it's done most people that use it will be priced out of the area and it will probably be a huge waste of taxpayer money.

I know someone who works for the feds that has hiring powers. They've told me the resumes they get sent by HR are shocking. Like been in Canada for a year with resumes that have nothing except education and experience from overseas. But if you throw French on your resume I guess it qualifies you for a $100k job in civil service.

Bleeding hearts love people walking across the border, but its not an easy walk.

This shit was actually a legit scandal in the USA. We found their corpses in a snow drift a few hundred meters from the Canadian border. To American thinking, the Canada border is a howling wilderness. But to Canadians it's the banana belt. However close you are to the US border is how close you are to civilization. Not so in America. The closer you are to the Canada border the further you are from the light.

So finding dead kids jumping the Canadian border into the American wilderness in the dead of the winter was shocking. A "wtf" message was sent to Ottawa and Trudeau didn't say anything back. We couldn't even send the corpses back to Canada so at US taxpayers expense the corpses were sent back to India. We also got the Indians to arrest the local traffickers.
