Its a pretty low chance, the conservatives genuinely bungled things, and its systematic more than personal. You don't just go from 31 million Canadians to 40 million Canadians since the start of covid, and not have major demographic, and therefore voting, change.

As a Canadian friend told me after the church on Sunday, his compatriots up north need to start thinking about their country and less about hating Trump. It seems that the Canadian version of Trump Derangement Syndrome is alive and well up there. The latest involves President Trump stopping negotiations over a tax. Here is the story:

President Donald Trump on Friday said the United States is immediately “terminating ALL discussions on Trade with Canada” in response to Ottawa’s decision to impose a digital services tax on American tech firms.

Trump’s surprise announcement on Truth Social accused Canada of “copying the European Union” with the “egregious” tax.



“We will let Canada know the Tariff that they will be paying to do business with the United States of America within the next seven day period,” Trump added.

A digital service tax? Why? What local version of a digital service company is it protecting? Furthermore, this tax is inspired by the Europeans? Really? Canada wants to copy the Europeans?

Any articles I can find on this don't state who is providing the money and what interest rate. It is also for the entirety of the EU that 258 billion CAD covers. So every member of the EU and Canada is signed onto it, with Ukraine probably eating the lion's share. It's mostly symbolic.

Apparently from what I've seen being discussed about it it's actually part of a $2+ trillion (iirc?) deal in total that 'SAFE' (the newly founded EU loan facility/govt organization behind this retarded program) is organizing between multiple countries, the 258 billion is just Canada's part

Whether that's us being loaned it, or us contributing it is what I'm less certain on, but either way it still sucks ass for our already strenuous debt in the long-run

I just came back to Canada for my 4 month purgatory period to keep my status and wow, over the last year the Jeet population has exploded.

In my condo alone at least 50% of the tenants are now Jeet or brown families. The hallways stink of curry and the elevators are full of the moronic babble of Jeet-speak.

I'm putting this place up for sale this year I think. I can barely recognize my own country anymore and that fills me with both rage and grief.

I took my great-nieces to the West Edmonton Mall to treat them a bit and again, it's absolutely packed with shitskins everywhere. I was going to let the kids go into the wave pool but after a quick glance I changed my mind. The pool water must be super contaminated and not safe for human use due to the heavy Jeet use.

If my family didn't force me back to the country I would brush the dust off my shoes forever and leave Canadians to the fate they've choose.

The truth is Canada is lost. I'd recommend anyone still living in Canada to either leave or accept your Jeet overlords and your place as a serf caste now to ease the coming transition.
