1 million Jeets a year for the next 50 years to hit that 100 million Century Project goal. They will be no money for new services, new healthcare, new...well anything. Just keep cramming in Jeets to prop up the GPD and keep housing prices the highest in the world.

Sucks for them the system will crash long before they hit 100 million. With Carney's new Green Deal spending Canada will break the 80% of tax base going to debt interest in about 15 years...most people reading this now will be around when Canada goes bankrupt.

I'd start planning for that future guys, it will happen as Canada's are nothing more then sheep and will vote for their own destruction just as long as they get a nice pat on the head from the elites every now and then for being such a good serf citizen.

I left over 20 years ago and never regretted it. Go to the US if you can, it will be the last bastion against the oncoming dark age and return to feudalism.

People really do not realise how bad things will actually get. Things will get to a point where at even a fucking medival serf will be preferable to whatever horrors they have in store for us.

What is Canada?

An economic zone and nothing more. And that's what it deserves, Canadian's sold their country out all for the privileged of being called a "good ally" to the Jeets, the niggers, and the low IQ browns of the world and all to enrich their masters.

It's a good joke and a important lesson to the US of what can happen.

Canadas national identity nowdays is literally just corporate slogans, a sport, a fast food chain, shit that comes out of a tree and some stereotype that we are all massive cucks and are so polite we wont stand up for ourselves. Either way (they) declared us a post national state, and so it shall be. They say that they will flood us with 100 million turd worlders? So it shall be. My apologies if this was posted before, but I actually did see a report by the Canadian government about this. It's from Policy Horizons and it was published at the beginning of this year. It's a quick read.

The GIST of the report is that by 2040:
  • pursuing post-secondary education will no longer be considered a reliable path regarding social mobility,
  • owning a home will not be a realistic goal for the majority,
  • inheritance will be seen by the majority as the only reliable way to get ahead financially,
  • people will rarely mix with others of different socioeconomic status
  • the value of human labour will shrink due to the rising use of AI
  • the goal of social mobility among youth will be at odds with expectations of immobility
The government really does lay out the basics of what's gonna happen, even if they don't wanna admit how bad it's really gonna get. Wade through their jargon and euphemism and you get a pretty good picture though. The government feels comfortable releasing stuff like this because they know the majority of Canadians are too dumb to read, let alone doubt the government.

A lot of Canada's "national" identity is really just co-opted Quebecois culture. The Laurentian elites used the culture of Quebec to try and individuate from Imperial Britain in mid-20th century. Maple syrup is a good example of this.

Yeah, that report made the rounds a while back. Best part about it is that it predicts unprecedented political extremism, which offers some hope. I also love how it says that group and generational mortgages will be the new norm, which is just, terrifying.

I offer a counter theory. Those are all boomers upset that can't sell their homes at lmao inflated prices. All they want is to get one last heist against the children of Canada and ride out into the sunset on a cruise ship staffed by third worlders.

They're also super lazy and ready to die. They'll take death before they have to upkeep their homes.

Brezhnev called this process; the long march through the institutions and that's exactly what it was. I remember laughing when I watching his interview, thinking how stupid it was to think you could so easily subvert the West by just getting some radical teachers into the schools.

Canadians seem to be extra susceptible to this due to have no real sense of national identity to start with and a very small group of very powerful elites who eagerly leaped onto the bus both because they believed in the process and because it would greatly benefit them. The US is more resistant due to a strong culture sense of their own history and a strong sense of personal identity that was deliberately killed in Canada after WW2.

I would love to move to the US. The question is where and how. I don't care for Midwest culture, and I don't like Democrat-run New York, or California. It'd have to be a Republican enclave in New England, because as much as I am right-wing, I appreciate high culture. It's just awful that the Republicans shaped their party into a bunch of anti-intellectual culturally primitive Evangelical hicks.

The American immigration system is also messed up, it's easier for me to get EU citizenship than migrate to America. In many ways I am more aligned with the right-wing movements in Europe who are inspired by Rome and Ancient Greece.

Then again I've always been in favour of the right-wing to reclaim cities and high culture. It's frustrating when the liberals have taken over high culture, and right-wingers have just vanished into allegorical trailer parks.

The right-wing movement in Canada is veering away further from intellectualism and towards American hicks. And on the American side, there is a sort of cultural war within Republicans between the country hicks and the classicalists.

US doesn't need any more high brow right wing "intellectuals". You call couldn't keep the rot at bay in your own countries, why should we want you in ours?

There is no war between the Hicks and the Classicists. Outside of the internet, those sorts don't exist in any meaningful sense here. Go to Europe if you want that sort of community, the US has always been leaving the past behind to create a new future.

A lot of the time, when Canadians say that they want to live in the USA, they don't actually want to live in the USA. They want to live in what they imagine Canada should be, and they use the USA as a surrogate to that fantasy.

at this point i would settle for someplace that is not Canada, and that it's own flaws are easier to deal with.

I get what you mean. I've noticed that a lot of people tack way too much ideological or moral significance to emigration. Living in Canada, especially if you're working class, is exhausting. I decided to leave because I didn't like being exhausted all the time. My choice to leave wasn't some grand intellectual or political or ethical dilemma. I was just tired, and I knew if I left that my quality of life would be better. For most people, the choice to leave is that simple. Every country has its flaws, but some are more flawed than others.

Your complete ignorance of a vast swath of the U.S. means you definitely shouldn’t. I suspect you think you’re “right wing” because you’re Canadian. Then again I’m an ignorant hick of a midwesterner so I’m sure you’re far more qualified to assess cultural and political superiority. The EU is definitely a better fit.
