Canadian party elections for MPs and MMPs are votes with a couple of hundred people. They favor well organized religious groups like the Sikhs, Jews and Evangelicals.
However, Canadian political parties are more top-down so party leaders can tard wrangle them more effectively. The only major concession they have to give is Israel loyalty.

France has a cheaper real estate market in general because they don't have mass immigration policies. The Moslems and Africans in France mainly arrived due to being former French colonies (i.e. West Africa, Algeria), or they arrived as refugees. Many real estate properties in France don't actually appreciate in value, it's either stagnant or even depreciate. France puts its money on infrastructure, social services, and high technology. France is more productive than Canada despite working less hours, and France is a global leader in robotics and high technology. France is also the biggest nuclear power in continental Europe aside from Russia.

We like to make fun of the French, but France is the preeminent economic, military, and cultural powerhouse of continental Europe. And France is also the most politically diverse Western nation, the current government is a leftist socialist coaliation while the opposition is a far-right nationalist. Le Pen is further right than Trump.

Meanwhile Canada continues to dump its money on housing and build an entire society of slumlords, while we've become a technological backwater. We have no robotics industry to speak of, CanadaArm was over 30 years ago. Canada's last major infrastructure project was the Confederation Bridge, and that was also nearly 30 years ago.

The only thing Canada have got to boast about used to be quality of life, but any honest review of our quality of life would understand that our healthcare is mediocre since it suffers from wait times, back logs, lack of hospital rooms, and incomplete coverage, and that's only one aspect. A lot of these quality of life rankings tend to ignore these details and exaggerate Canada's standing. I can't stand moronic Canadians clapping like seals meanwhile our hospitals overflow with patients in hallways, and we don't even have universal drug, optometry, and dental coverage.

And the Canadian immigration system has become a complete disgrace. Japan has a better immigration system despite not having one in the first place, entirely VISA based subject to annual renewals depending on language fluency and work status, naturalisation is 10 years, and no dual citizenship. Japan actually gets better migrants than us because their vetting is a lot more thorough. And Japan actually deports people! By force! Despite what the internet claims, Japan is notorious for deportations, they've been known to crack down on that since the 1980's.

If the politicians were actually interested in correcting these problems then that would be another story, but instead they reduce permanent immigration from 500k/y to 400k/y, and that doesnt even account for TFWs and "international students". They arent worried about the nonexistent justice system, only when they're personally threatened or if someone says something that isn't aligned with the regime.

And that's not including external factors that some of us have (friends, family in other countries etc.) Canada not only legalized assisted suicide, but administered it to its own state

I actually think the opposite. To rob something, it has to exist in the first place. There was never a "Canadian" identity, only British, Canadien, and Indigenous. When the federal government moved away from Britain in the mid-20th century, they co-opted the Canadien identity but they also stifled the creation of a singular unified identity and aborted any chance of it. I think a unified Canadian identity would be predicated on an actual merging of the core three identities, and that's yet to happen. I suspect that it will never happen because it would require actual honest insight into Canada's past, and most Canadians are too ignorant and delusional to analyze that kinda stuff.
