Canada is a failed state

Carney just spent last three months virtue signalling and got nothing done.

Set up a first minister conference and came with no project or pipeline.

Met with the OG Indians and basically said no projects

Now trump says no more negotiation. August 1 and that's it.

Wow.

Amazing.
That's not necessarily true. Carney is working on cancelling the citizens as Castro Jr. did before.
As others already remember Carney used to be governor of the RBC as well as of the Bank of England.
He is also a board member of Lynn Forester de Rothschild's 'Council for Inclusive Capitalism'.

Carney is going to sit on his ass for the next four years and cry ''TRUMP'' and hope the boomers will still vote for him again.
...So hypothetically, what's Carney's gameplan if anything happens to the Orange Man in the meantime? Pivot to ree-ing about Vance?

It's not like he'll have "Vote me to pwn Trump" next Election, assuming nothing fucktarded happens and we have an early one called...

It will be easy for him to pivot to Vance if something did happen to Trump. TDS boomers don't view Vance any more favorably than Trump. Next election's excuse will be ''Trump's gone. Now I can really get to work even though I said I was the guy to stop Trump but let's just memory hole that, okay?''

Yeah, Carney's base can easily be activated & reprogrammed like a sleeper cell whenever needed.

All the boomers riled up by tariffs and booing the Star Spangled Banner at hockey games & Elbows Up have already gone back to sleep.

It's also a problem that it's become socially acceptable to casually fangirl over the Liberals again.

I hear lots of IRL AWFLs stan what a great job Carney is doing as though he's 2015 Trudeau all over again.

My mother just complained about how loud the jeets are in public. Same boomer who voted liberal 4 months ago

Im genuinely speechless. So not only are you not allowed to protest peacefully against the government if you arent protesting a state approved cause like climate change or whatever, but now youre not even allowed to legally defend them. Yet we're supposed to be a liberal democracy?

He'll absolutely call one early for 2027-2028 so long as he wants to get re elected. If he waits until 2029 i have a feeling they'll shuffle him out for one of Trudeau's old ministers now that his regime's been memory holed

Pretty much every chug public race grifter is a NDP commie to the last man.
The one thing I'll give chugs is their love of 7.62x39. May their alcohol infused grifting forever keep the SKS nonrestricted and a proud member of many a Canadian's gun collection.

There will be an early election, just a matter of timing. Cons will likely reconfirm Poilievre in January, NDP are selecting their new leader in March, and the Bloc have already stated they are only (conditionally) supporting the Libs for a year: everyone will be out to start eating into the Libs and setting up a suitable campaign trigger. Carney in turn will have to run on a record of increased immigration, no housing, no national projects started (let alone confirmed), and no trade deal with the US; he might still retain boomer support, but not as much as he had last time, and that's before considering an NDP in do-or-die mode.

Don't get your hopes up, the liberals will win again. They've secured power in perpetuity by guaranteeing the CBC's Budget is enshrined into law

If they weren't voted out last time, whats another four years max gonna do to convince the normie

This country already gave Liberals more rope after a near decade of decay. No reason to think that people won't vote Liberal again at this point and cope that Carney needs more time.

Never said anything about them losing . I fully expect another repeat of boomer housing value line go up magic carrying the Laurentian parasites across the line, just with less room for manoeuvre than the current situation. We aren't voting ourselves out of this situation, but have the benefit of Carney being the herald of, in Chinese parlance, interesting times ahead.

I'm not sure, we're starting to get to the point where boomers want to cash in on all the money their homes are worth but they're sometimes having a hard time finding a buyer. The reverse mortgage companies are starting to ramp up the advertising, with the assumption that they will only pay out a fraction of the agreed on houses' value before the boomers die off.

Well duh, anything else would require actual policy and work.

They absolutely fucking deserve what is what is coming for them. Boo fucking hoo that the boomers cant sell their 4 bed 2 bath townhouse for 3 million dollars when they bought it for like 300k.

Like trudeau, carneys only hope of getting re-elected is by calling an early election (preferably before trump is out of office so the CBC can fearmonger more.)

And they would give them decades more if they could.

Hate to break it to you, Bernier isn't going to do anything.

The problem is that the reverse mortgager will value it at 3.5 million dollars and give them a 50 year reverse mortgage (that cannot be transferred and inherited), and then take ownership of the house when the boomers kick the bucket after only paying out a grand total of 250k. The boomers will be convinced they got a good deal, the reverse mortgager will know they did, and home ownership for the average Canadian gets delayed for a few more years.
