Does Trump have a crystal ball? I'm not saying this to be ironic, I genuinely have to wonder. Everyone laughed at him when he said he'd be taking Canada. Now the Cannucks are openly deploying foreign soldiers on America's borders and giving us one hell of a casus belli to roll north and link Alaska to the mainland.
 
The new bot script is that Carney is a "Progressive Conservative" - Socially a liberal and fiscally conservative. Almost like these sycophants ignored his outrageous budget. I truly, deeply hate this country. Apparently floor crossers are not 'traitors' but thinking about country above party.... Of course if the shoe was on the other foot we would hear non-stop bitching about 'muh democracy'. If I have to hear one more politician say they are taking a step back because of their 'family' I am going to hurl.

Something I've noticed for a while now is how Canadians are obsessed with being on the "right side of history" which is why they must double down on failed policies even as other left leaning countries are moving away from those policies. Also countries who claim to be on the "right side" never are, and frankly, they wouldn't have to brag about being righteous if they actually were such amazing people.

Also there will definitely be "Canadian fatigue" in the future the same way there's black and Indian fatigue.

But this isn't what I'm saying at all... I'm saying that you talking about your experiences as though they are the standard that every single Canadian experienced is closed-minded. You aren't the only person that lives (or lived) in Canada. It's kind of like pretending that everyone in Canada is from Ontario and that everyone can relate to the highs and lows of living in the GTA suburbs.

I think the real difference in our thought is that you seem to be under the impression that the Albertan separation movement is a grassroots one that represents the interests of the working class, and I believe that it's a carefully crafted piece of political theatre designed to further enrich the Albertan business owners, landlords, and politicians.

The convoy was a direct echo of 01/06. People actually entered the capitol building, they stole shit, they scared the politicians, they were organized and united. That's the character of an American. So we can all talk about how businesses like Tim Hortons, for example, make more money through hiring recent immigrants, and how landlords push for more immigrants so that the demand for housing goes up, and politicians use immigrants as voting pawns - but the businessmen, landlords, and politicians in Alberta totalllly won't do the same.

It's actually a lot easier than you might think, if you're under the age of 35 anyway. Australia has a really great working holiday visa program and it's pretty easy to get one. I have a friend that went to Australia on the working holiday visa and her employers liked her so much they sponsored her for PR after a few months.

Pretty stupid move to allow one of the most anti-immigrant provinces in Canada to dictate its own immigration policy if the goal is to flood the place with cheap foreign workers. You make absolutely no sense.

Carney is trying to keep scandals to a minimum and the usual insane Liberal bullshit out of the spotlight until he gets his majority. Then it is full steam ahead. Seriously, read his book. It tells you what he is about. He's just like Larry Fink of Blackrock. He wants to use tax payer funds to force the world into his own vision. He's all in on all this progressive bullshit.

So they can already get Commonwealth members into the CAF. The usual pipeline is UK to Canada to Australia. This is to try to steal third worlders into the CAF. No US serviceman will be willing to join the CAF. Why would you go from the forefront of armed conflict with the best equipment, the best training to dealing with a group of people who are fantastically lazy, and mostly gay.

On top of that, they are back to enforcing French language skills as mandatory. So why would you go from anywhere in the world to Canada where you're stuck at the bottom rung for your career because you don't speak a dying language. That doesn't even speak to how miserable most of our bases are out in the middle of nowhere. 10 years in the USAF as an officer and you're already O-4 looking at possibly hitting O-5 in a couple if years. In the CAF you're sitting as a captain and will most likely remain there until you have finished French training and a Masters.

People who think they can do a 5 year contract and get out, will find that after 5 years you get NOTHING from the CAF. A return of pension contributions and the knowledge you made slightly higher than minimum wage for 5 years.
