Canada is on fire

Okay so here's my plan.

We put a bunch of industrial sized fans on America's northern border, facing Canada.

Whenever they go on fire, we turn the fans on and blow the smoke back up at 'em.
More wind equals stronger fires.

I like it. Day of the Rake without a single shot fired or a single boot on the ground.

People living in these areas have been saying it smells like Chemicals there instead of the usual wildfire smoke. If anything, those were the same chemicals killing people and trees in Norilsk, Russia for decades now. Norilsk Nickel was the main culprit and monopoly in the city and questioning them would get them fired and they were given much less of an opportunity to do it as Norilsk Nickel owned almost every job in the city. Trees aren't the only ones affected by this but lakes also. They're literally implementing the environmental horrors from Norilsk into the States. So much for saving the planet. This is extreme gaslighting.

The Canadian Governments failure to protect its own citizens is complete. The Capital of the Northwest Territories, responsible for 1.1 million Square miles of the North American Continent has been ordered to evacuate. In its entirety.

Those able to brave the smoke with masks must leave via the sole access road using N95 masks. Everyone else evacuated by air.

An absolute disgrace.

Remember leaf friends. It's all climate changes fault. Trudeau is a handsome, smiling buffoon who dindu nuffin.

Maybe you should use the sacred water to put out the fire.

Maybe Trudeau should get off his high horse and realize he is in over his head.

I get it. The entire political rational of Turdeau is that he is a liberal nationalist of Canada not beholden to the icky Americans.

Well fun story.

I live a thousand Kilometers from the Canadian border and I can smell it. Worse, I can SEE it. Canada's smoke flows low over the fields of the US south.

We see it. We smell it. And We blame Trudeau.

I am sitting in my bed right now, a thousand Kilometers from Canada and I can smell wood smoke. In August. And I know it's not my neighbors.

This shit was funny a few weeks ago. It's not funny anymore. Ask for help, and you will get it. It's not like the entire USA is unaware. The Canada fires are literally blowing smoke in our face on the daily. But we can't do shit about it because Canada won't ask for help.

What a goddamn failure all the way the fuck around. Its in vogue to hate on Canada (with good reason) but my arctic neighbors are generally speaking great people and its a fucking shame to see this occurring and the government just admitting defeat

Fuck Trudeau completely, what a complete absence of leadership on his part

I'm about 400 miles away, we don't have any smoke here but we're well aware of what's happening across the border and all my friends and neighbors are sickened by it. I can't fucking believe Canada can call itself a first world country after this

I'm just shocked honestly

Remember this story from a few months ago?

Canadian Gender ‘Equity’ Fire Training Program Leads to Out-of-Control Blaze

by The Lancaster Patriot Staff
May 8, 2023

A controlled burn involving Canada’s first-ever “Women-in-Fire Training Exchange” (WTREX) led to the evacuation of residents, tourists, and livestock as the fire turned into an “out of control” blaze, Rebel News reports.

The prescribed burn occurred in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada’s oldest national park.

Parks Canada blamed the spread on unexpected winds.

“On the afternoon of May 3, 2023, Parks Canada carried out a prescribed fire in Compound Meadows, in Banff National Park,” a Twitter post from the parks service said. “Around 1600, due to an unexpected shift in wind direction and speed, the fire escaped the predetermined boundary.”

The fire spread across the street and threatened to damage a cemetery, an event tent, and a resort. A temporary evacuation order for residents, tourists, and livestock was issued. The order was rescinded later that same day, and the fire is now considered to be under control. Five helicopters were reportedly needed to contain the blaze.

The burn was part of a 12-day program designed “to engage participants of all different genders, ethnic, and racial backgrounds to explore the growing role of women in fire management.”

“[Did you know] women are still underrepresented in the firefighting community?” a Twitter post from Parks Canada said in March. “Diversity is strength which is why #WTREXCanada empowers more women to become leaders in fire management!”

The Northwest Territories have limited infrastructure and there is only one two-lane road out of Yellowknife to the province of Alberta to the south.

While I don't have firsthand knowledge, I think it can't really be emphasized enough how sparse and shitty the road infrastructure is in the Territories and Northern Alberta.

Unpaved roads, hundreds of kilometres between gas stations, no towns, no accommodations, no emergency services.

I remember the Camping with Steve YouTuber Steve Wallis driving his converted schoolbus from Edmonton to the NWT border a few years back, when he was turned away during COVID because there was still a COVID checkpoint preventing outsiders from entering the Arctic.

This crossing, which is hours and hours south of Yellowknife, was nothing more than a glorified logging road.

Must be an air flow thing. We've had two "beyond graph" days this year, due to the Canada fires. It's an eerie thing, to look up at the sky, see the sun blotted out and opine " that's Canada's fault".

Who blames Canada for anything. That's a South Park Joke!

I'm not laughing anymore though. Giving up Yellowknife is absolutely unforgivable. Yellowknife is a strategic town. It sits astride the sole land route between Continental America and the Arctic Realms. That Canada would depopulate it so casually is horrifying.

Yellowknife has an expertly planned emergency management system.

What are the primary risks for the City of Yellowknife?

The primary risk for the City of Yellowknife is a long power outage in -30 C weather or colder. Other risks include forest fires, fuel spills, explosions, or severe accidents like an airline crash

Are there emergency shelters available?

  • Emergency Reception Centres, powered by backup generators, are located within the city
  • The use of these reception centres will vary depending on the type and location of the emergency. When necessary the public will be notified which reception centre is being activated for emergency use

Would the City evacuate due to an emergency?

If there were an emergency situation which required a partial or full evacuation of Yellowknife, the City would coordinate planning and action with the GNWT and it's other emergency response partners in activating evacuation operations. The City and GNWT would activate their respective Emergency Management Plans to organize and implement a full or partial evacuation of Yellowknife. A specific action plan would be created to address the requirements to activate an evacuation determined by conditions related to the actual threat (eg. direction of the wildfire's advance, weather conditions and forecasts, the effects of smoke on residents, security of air and ground transportation routes, availability of emergency reception areas, and the capacity to mitigate the threat). Both air and ground transportation methods would most likely be used in a full scale evacuation unless either option was hindered by current conditions.
A shelter-in-place strategy would be utilized in situations where only a portion of the community was at risk and it was determined feasible to remain in the immediate area, or if a large scale evacuation was not possible. This strategy would involve moving residents from affected areas of the city to areas where conditions were safe, or at least areas where they may not be ideal but presented improved conditions for people to await a reduction in the fire threat.

Even though the city admits that forest fires are a major risk, their Emergency Management Plan doesn't mention fires or evacuation at all. The evacuation framework mentions fire, in appendix 2, but the plan for evacuating the city is "¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ‍ we'll figure it out!"

Northwest Territories, British Columbia and Yukon ordered to evacuate. Thousands now fleeing to the Alaska and Washington State Borders.

I couldn't RTA due to the paywall, but I'd just point out that Kelowna, British Columbia is in the Interior, not that far from the Washington State border and nowhere close to Yellowknife or the NWT.

It would be the rough equivalent of lumping in a brushfire in Flagstaff, Arizona with a forest fire in Fargo, North Dakota.

The long march towards Klaus Schwaab's first world climate migrants seems to be finally bearing fruit.
In the face of all this incompetance- just remember that he has bragged before about having the entire Canadian cabinet under his thumb. How the Canadian citizens haven't revolted over this is beyond me, if my home was burning and the government was unable to contain a damned fire, I'd be torching governmental buildings until they did.
What a shame. All of these wildfires that governments seem woefully unprepared for so close together is insane it's beyond any strawman of a coincidence.

Canada is filled with nigger cattle. During the trucker protest you had a disgusting amount of people siding with the government and generally being pro lockdown.

Don't worry, the world took notice of that. Canada is a joke to most of the first world.
