Cancelled Games You Wish Had Been Released - I Can't Think of a Good Subtitle

The .Hack series needed to continue in main games.
But CC2 fell in to the trap of the early gatcha push and put out a pile of shit that shut down months after launch. Now all we get is livestreams that "bait" an anouncement. And it turns out it is a concert where 1 song from the game is played.

I think I was mostly right.

For the new game the main character isn't played by Harrison Ford, and was a flop, mainly praised for being a game where you walk around taking pictures of cats. I don't know if the girlboss in the trailers has a big role in the game, but her being a focus of the marketing didn't help. Indiana Jones, like Star Wars and Star Trek, is a dead franchise. Maybe it's good, I don't know.

With inZOI looking okay so far in its Early Access, Paralives hopefully releasing its Early Access this year, and The Sims 4 continuing to fall apart due to its decade of spaghetti code with The Sims 5 not coming soon, and Project Rene looking like it's another low-effort mobile game, I still think that Paradox jumped the gun by giving up on Life By You, as EA is in dire need of a wakeup from their monopoly of the Life Simulation genre.

I also wanted Gran Turismo 7 to get its PC Port, just to see if it would get shit on by Forza Motorsport 2023, given the lameduck state that FM2023 was on launch.

I think Paradox lost a whole lot of money in their failed investmover the past 7 or so years. None of its panned out well. Between them, Thunderful and Embracer the Swedes sure have fucked it these past few years.

The recent reuse of the Marathon IP made me wish that Double Aught's Duality had made it to release. Who knows how good a game it would have been, but at the very least the art and production design set it apart from most of the other early FPS's.
