Can't you just calculate your reaction score?

Using the old point values, couldn't you hypothetically calculate a reaction score by adding your positive reactions multiplied by the number of points they were worth, then subtracting the negative reactions, and putting the remainder in your custom title slot?

If one cared enough to do so, that is...

On one hand I think people crying over stickers and reaction scores is the most man child thing ever.

On the other, the level of autism is impressive - not in a way in which someone like @thegooddoctor might sperg out over his 7/10 dead mother but in the using drones and flight maps to find the HWNDU flag way.

It's almost respectable if it weren't for how retarded this entire fiasco has become.

I'm curious what the inciting incident was for this change. Dear Feeder is (supposedly) very busy all the time and he's not dumb enough to think there wouldn't be a shit storm over this change. Seems stupid to invite this headache onto himself. I wonder if there is something else he doesn't want people arguing about and looking at instead.

Check the thread regarding mass DMs. If you start from the beginning you can see how it evolved in to reaction scores being wiped.

I'm not against removing the fraggin' stickers, after Null said that they're a huge weight when migrating the site.

To be honest? I find it fine myself not having the reaction scores and notifications anymore since I don't frequent fast moving subforums like the Thunderdome. I can completely understand the lebbiters' call to get their heckin karma back since it was an integral part of the site culture (such as detecting retards, site regulars, etc) but also from A&Hers (even a lot of general users) who want ease of access to threads they've replied to.

It must be so tiring for Null to try to accomodate thousands of concurrently online autists being against him in some way, and inevitably compromises have to be made like this and the DM chain thing - that'll possibly ruin the Secret Santa unless he changes it to a invites-per-person limitation basis.
