Dude, like half my employees drive renegades. They sound awful idling at the same time while people sit in the AC to text. Like they came out of the factory with a valve tick. Everyone shows me their new car and all I can say is "mhmm wow that's pretty neat". If you're poor just get a used Honda smh
I swear the Renegade is driven mostly by women or effeminate men. Almost every Renegade I've seen on the road was driven by a woman. It's loud because it has the same Fiat Multiair engine in the Fiat 500. Basically an Italian city car with fake offroad cladding.

I'm not sure why they don't throw a Pentastar V6 in the Renegade to give it a few more ponies, maybe trim it out a little more. Make it a Bronco competitor.

Then again, between the Gladiator and the Trailhawk, I'm guessing Jeep has their masculine market cornered, but I'm not much of a Jeep guy to know in the first place. Used to have a busted up Grand Cherokee from the early 2000s, wasn't too fond of it.

I wanted to buy a Jeep for my first car. Test drove it in the dead of a Midwest winter. The soft top was loud, high center of gravity, not much power and rusted bad. Jeeps are overrated and overpriced. They're just toys. No practicality, and it wouldn't be my first choice for off-road

The renegades, grand cherokees and Dodge minivans from the last 8 years all have that same "Constant valve tick" and I agree, its maddening.

The obvious superior vehicle are the ones with red colors. Red makes it go faster.

Trailhawk is just a badge they throw on CUVs to say it has better suspension and it comes with factory A/Ts and a black stripe on the hood. It's really only "good" on the Cherokee, because its actually built to make it a fairly neat, sturdy and lightweight little off-roader. The Grand Cherokee, Compass and Renegade trailhawks are pretty shitty, though

My wife loved her Wrangler Sahara until I got my Land Cruiser and realized how much more comfortable and more capable it was. Our kids don't even like riding in the Jeep anymore because it doesn't ride as nice, have good rear climate control or the space in the back seats. I think she wants to trade it in for a GX, which Im fine with

I really wish I could show you guys my summer daily/off roader. Problem is that it would be too easy to figure out who I am with one picture. It's super customized and eats jeeps and trucks for breakfast. The only thing better is a motocross bike than this puppy. I took it out today to a job site, tore up some dirt, then drove into the sun like a cowboy

Friend of mine his daughter is a Statie in NJ and says red cars speed the most. Orkz are right.

Granted I broke 120 today in a blue car. I gotta say, there's speeding then theirs my cars so fucking fast I do this by mistake. I really need to sell her while she's got value but, damn I love more power than I can deal with.

Frankly on another note I really like Pops WRX, I just wish he knew wtf understeer was and accepted the car has it "I want to put a few bucks in it" ok fix understeer, no basso it doesn't do that...

I thought AWD cars typically oversteer? Take it to a shop and get the alignment checked out. Well worth your $100 if you don't want to use the measuring tape and eyeball method

I believe most manufacturers tune the suspension to slightly understeer for safety on most cars except for a few super enthusiast cars like the Lotus and various Porsches. Audi do this a lot but that's also partly due to the engine being pushed so far forward over the front axle.

Its kind of funny hearing family complain about different cars being more comfortable and having better, softer suspension. I drove in so many shitboxes, everything new feels like luxury to me. My daily's an 01 Cherokee, it looks and feels like you're driving a brick.
I've had a couple of people say that my car rides stiffly, but to me, it's still a magic carpet ride, because I know what a '87 Jetta with blown shocks and springs feels like.

A friend of mine called me early today to help him with his car, it is a Derpsoon B210 that he has been restoring as a hobby. It is around 10pm here and the engine is mostly done, we just finished replacing the water pump. Between jokes, engine parts and some beers I had the best weekend in a long time.

What's the largest vehicle you've operated? Mine is a boom truck with twin sticks. That thing was a beast
An old Massey Ferguson 135 tractor with a steering weel that could rip your arms off if it gets a road bumb, the wheel will spin off fiercely because you did not put enough weight on the front tires.

One of the reasons women love the Lexus RX is because it looks like a Coach handbag on wheels. Bitches love handbags.

Also helps that Lexuses are pretty comfy and generally anvil-reliable as long as it gets the bare minimum maintenance.

Going from a 2005 Dodge 2500 to a 2011 GMC 2500 was night and day for ride quality. The GMs have independent front suspension so I think that must be it. Also it's a lot light than a Cummins. I haven't been in a car that rides better than a late model ford Taurus

Infiniti Q70s/G37s ride REALLY well, it's literally like being in the back of a modern 7 series. You feel the road, but not the shittier parts of it. Also, Ford's with the King Ranch package from about 2010 onward are insanely comfortable, if not EXTREMELY shitty to maintain

Even the older 7 series with the rear air suspension is supremely comfortable for modern standards.

Yeah, my dad has a 2011 750 li and he loves everything about it except the maintenance. I test drove it with him and was impressed with it
