This point is retarded because there is obviously a culture of doxing people here.
If you read more carefully, the OP specifically addressed Keffals lying about doxing (which lead to, apparently, pizza deliveries which was used as leverage in the dropkiwifarms) and Keffals did, in fact admit that is was false
A "culture of doxing" is also mere assertion I content is overblown. Some users (such as myself) are anti- doxing (with the exception of direct utility in documenting dishonest and other shenanigans) , but KF also has a policy of no user moderation (ie "backseat" moderation) - so that is left to the staff.
because the word "doxing" is associated with harassment for some reason.
well yes, disclosing of information can be done for a variety of reasons, such as in the case of Brianna Wu I believe it was thatRalph Retort character (not a farmer) who demonstrated that Wu's fleeing her home was recorded from in Wu's home.
Likewise, the information also confirmed that Wu was lying about driving that Porsche with failed lights (illegal) home in the "pitch black" as the streets around Wu's home has streetlights
In such cases, the information has direct utility and it part-and-parcel with exposing the lies
The distinction here between "we did it" and "we wanted to do it and tried to do it, but that other site was just better at it than us" is so small and pointless that it's not even worth mentioning.
That point would, in fact be ,as you put it, retarded as it is self-inconsistent (you said it's not worth mentioning while mentioning it)
But perhaps more to the point it incorrectly assumes it is a question of ability. IIRC AFTER said Keffals accusations and claims KF spend hours (and had already published the location info) I was able to reconstruct the search in I think about 20 seconds - which I did to test the assertion that kiwifarms spent "hours" which, as it turns out was untrue for 2 reasons
1) the search was very quick
2) it wasn't Kiwifarms
Your assertion it was ability related is fabrication
I've already tested it. I can recall having disagreement with other users on patentability of process claims and the quality of Peter Watts' fiction.
There was disagreement on the validity of Brianna Wu's analysis about physical placement of (IIRC) Russian diplomatic facilities as it relates to the ability to do espionage recently.
Perhaps somewhat more charged, there was some disagreeing statements on the R Baker thread regarding her passing (I don't believe it went to argument, which given the nature of the thread at that point
