Tim Pool and Sargon are both complaining about how the rules aren't being applied fairly in an attempt to get him unbanned, which probably has a snowflakes chance in hell of happening when what he should be doing is going full on accelerationist towards the left because he's never going to get patreon to change the way they apply the rules but the SJW's could.

Yeah, I'm saying I feel uncomfortable with all the people celebrating this. The karmic aspect of this IS delicious, given Carl's own hijinks, but it's pretty terrifying how bold they've gotten after they saw they could get rid of Alex Jones and, far from getting negative publicity, they would get positive press. The simple fact is that Sargon didn't do anything that should have gotten him kicked off.

You know, free market types may be suspicious of government intervention here, but... all these companies are run by people on the far, far left, people who flirt with radical politics ("radical chic") with a holy roller complex thinking they're going to turn the system in on itself or whatever these champagne socialists fancy they're doing. These people all believe in regulations and passing laws telling businesses how to run ("bake the cake") so maybe we should just allow them to live in accordance with their own values and regulate them up the wazoo. The future is socialist anyway, no escaping that, the propaganda is deep-seated and damage done, might as well use their own beliefs against them.

The future is clearly fascist. Or Islamic. Take your pick. It may be socialist for a little bit, maybe once the Millennials become the new Baby Boomers, but at that point they'll have alienated the current Gen Z's to the point where they'd be completely fine with a strong nation aligned with the corporations who've realized they're not growing under these regulations their former holders pushed for. Socialism tends to fail after all the people who got used to working well under capitalism finally die or leave. And then it'll come down to nihilism versus tyranny, and that plays out just as well as anarchism versus tyranny.

Basically what we can learn from Patreon's canning of Sargon is that they just don't want to support anyone controversial, anyone who's big enough and upsetting enough that they'll get any possible screeching from some group or another. They'll whack them whether they're on the left or on the right, and they'll whack the centrists too for good measure; just as long as they have enough people online to get the sanitized profit margin they need.

I don't speak for everyone, but I do NOT think Patreon was justified in booting Carl from their platform. I just think it's funny. I also think Carl isn't helping himself by blaming the people he's blaming. He'd have more of my sympathy if he was going after the real culprits for his banning, and not some trolls on the Chan boards. Yet, here we are, and Carl still remains hopelessly stupid and short-sighted.
I also personally don't know how viable it is to fight for regulation of payment processors (let's throw social media's clear political bias in there, too) unless it starts affecting a significant portion of the normie population, as well.

I also suspect he didn't save jack shit from his earnings considering how fast he tried to set up alternate revenue streams. To me he appears more interested in securing/re-securing his financial future than actually forging forward with the political issue at hand.
