There's a lot of banks out there. A lot of processors and merchant account companies that work under them. I assure you that no one at Bank of America would even know or give a shit about Sargon of Akkad's tiny business.

I set these up for many sites back in the day. There are countless options outside the United States. China, Singapore, Netherlands, Eastern Europe, Costa Rica, etc. Plenty of companies who do not give a shit what you're processing. If scat and rape porn sites can find proessing, Sargon can too. But most of these people are too lazy or incompetent to bother because it requires setting up your own site and keeping a 10% rolling reserve with the company you're doing business. They want a company like Patreon to do all the work for them.

This is just business. Patreon dropped him because they've been looking to get acquired for years now. They don't want the stink of anything perceived as hate speech on their site. Just like they dropped all the porn stuff. That shit scares off big companies.

Paypal has always been strict with what they allow. It's part of their business model to avoid anything high risk. The porn industry has managed just fine without it so I'm sure Sargon can too.

I'll feel bad for him when I find out he's been rejected by 50-100 other companies. But it seems like it's just a couple high profile one's in the U.S.

Basically a currency that's value is based on what people are willing to pay for it. The easiest comparison would be that it's similar to stock. But much more volatile as it's value can spike or drop incredibly fast. Such as the currency eth that went from 400 to 1$ in an hour than shot up to several thousand in a few weeks.

Granted I don't visit that sub very often, but when did kotakuinaction turn into a giant Sargon hugbox? It's full but "Jim did this..." posts and unironically calling Metokur and his followers 'edgy fanboys'. Which sure they are, but never have I seen a clearer case of pot meets kettle.

Sargon is basically the patron saint of gamer gate and those guys are stuck in 2014 the height of Sargon so im not surprised. I even think he used them as an arrogate for stuff to talk about on his Thinkery channel more than once

Sargon is so fucking lucky that Patreon banned him...Anybody that thinks this is in any way a bad thing for him, are WRONG

He was on a slow decline into obscurity before this, Liberalist Failed, Debating the ALT-Right failed, Gamergat2 was laughed at, he was on his way out, his Patreon was shrinking every month, and every attempt to energize his base had failed...

Now he`s a victim and "the talk of the town", all the more mainstream people like Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson etc that before would not talk about him or to him of fear of second hand embarrasment, are now talking about him and promoting him and his new paypig service:

1. It's reddit, and you can count on redditors to take the faggiest stance on anything.

2. KiA, to be the "good boys" and prove they weren't mean wimmen harassers, basically adopted a little bit of SJW-y leanings themselves. Not full blown, but a touch of it. And that's not too dissimilar from Sargon as well.

You are totally correct that the Bank of America won't know or give a shit about Sargon, but that's because he's in England so none of their services are available to him.

Patreon take roughly 10% of the money. Alternative companies will take far more and will probably drop Sargon far quicker than Patreon did if they start getting flooded with complaints.
