But even then, anti-Trump folks tried to spin "pussy" comment as a rape thing, but with Sargon you don't even have to spin anything. Every shit he says is very clearly stupid or exceptional. And, if I remember right, Trump did sorta-kinda apologize for that comment saying that it didn't represent who he was now or something like that. Carl instead just doubles down on every exceptional thing he had ever did or said.

Trumps excuse of 'locker room talk' (Did he make that excuse or was it supporters?) In his case actually, well held some ground, as a lot of people are sympathetic to the idea of saying dumb crap that they don't actually believe in one on one conversations with others.

Sargon on the other hand, was very direct, public and transparent.

You know hate him or love him but Milo never pretended to be anything more than a provocateur who wanted to poke at the left and see them flail. Sargon on the other hand wants to be a big boy politician making real change in his country and the world at large but also still believes he can be an edgy internet shitposter making nigger and rape and jew jokes without any consequence.
