If you like Brexit and Farage, Carl has been godsent. If it weren't for him, and his easily attackable idiotic statements, then all this media bombardment would have been aimed at the Brexit Party. But with him around, he's the easy target, while Are Nige and his folks get off scot-free, with 30+% in the polls.
So in a way, Carl really did further the Brexit cause. Just not in the way he imagined.

The host starts off by wasting 10 minutes in a back and forth with Carl over the rape tweets. Carl accosts the media for focusing on them, saying the latest one was a joke for a 'closed audience on my youtube channel'. The host asks why Carl would complain about media coverage while stoking it. Carl continues to complain.
Later Carl is asked (paraphrasing) 'What would UKIP do about brexit'. Carl rambles, calls himself a regular person
and implies anyone who doesn't support brexit is a traitor. Later again Carl runs with the good old 'I wouldn't even want to be in politics but X made me do it' meme.He has almost no capacity outside his PC/own the libs talking points. There's a controversy going on surrounding limits to prosecuting soldiers that forced a Tory MP to effectively resign the party whip until its solved. Here's audio of the section:
The first response is from the Green MEP, the second is Carl's. Even if you don't agree with it- notice how on-topic and specific Molly is and how much Carl rambles and relies on non-specifics.
He has no political knowledge base outside of whatever he got on youtube. Sad!
