It's not even about what Jess Philips 'deserves' and entirely about earning a sense of legitimacy and trust from the people. Trump can afford to be rude to his opposition because his ability to lead and handle the public spotlight was never in any doubt after being a public figure, business leader, and media star for decades. Jess Philips isn't even that horrendous a woman, she's just an annoying loudmouth and a politician and yes, that does mean if you want to be a politician you have to afford her a certain degree of politesse. People don't want to watch the leaders of their country getting into petty slapfights over whether or not you might try and slip your cock into her.

after she laughed. I don't think she was right to laugh at International Mens Day but trying to double down on these comments is just retarded, you should just say; "These were comments I made as a comedian, and don't reflect me as a politician. I leave it up to the public to decide whether or not my comments as a comedian were funny or not." That way you're not walking back your words, you're establishing that you're here as a legitimate political force, and you can just fall back on that line to defend yourself and the media will get tired of asking because they won't get anything else out of you.
You seem to be missing the big picture. Are you trying to win an election or win the culture war? Sargon can win elections if he just acts like a standard politician BUT that doesn't move the overton window, doesn't change the culture war. To win the culture war, you gotta fight some of these battles and change the minds of people. True but Trump also cucked on a lot of issues and look at his presidency. Sure he won the battle (election) but he lost the war because he cucked on too many issues.
Firstly, Sargon can't win elections. He's a joke here, and he was always going to be a joke regardless of the media because he's a brainlet with no real ideas. Secondly, winning an election and the 'culture war' aren't two separate things. You have to hold a platform to broadcast your message from, and to act as a source of legitimacy for your voice. And what battles did Sargon really fight? He played defence the whole time, and that shit makes you look weak. His own party betrayed him on more than one occassion, all because Sargon decided to 'fight back' against the 'dirty dirty smear merchants' instead of staying on-message and working closely with the community he was meant to be representing.
Sargon will never win anything or be anything but a negative force for the right in Britain because Sargon stands for literally nothing. Sargon is
entirely defined by the things he rejects or hates, than the things he accepts or likes. That's why he's popular today, whilst people are generally displeased with the way the world is. But if the pendulum ever swung the other way and society put Sargon in a position of power, he'd have no clue what to do with that power. Look at the Liberalists website, it reads like what a child would write as a series of political ideas, there's no nuance or thought to the reality of these political ideas, and most of them emerge from Sargons own disdain for the opposition rather than from a firm belief in any actual ideals. The man joined UKIP as a gotcha, and even said in an interview on what he would do as an MEP: "Well, what can an MEP really do?" Sargon is a joke, and anyone who wants to 'fight the culture war' would be wise to keep Sargon the fuck away from their movement.
