WikiFur has an article about R.C. Fox, many of his accounts were disabled after the CP bust and are probably only accessible through any archives that may exist. The post below the dashed line remains as it was when it was originally posted by user oneninetyone.

It's been alleged that a currently unidentified corpse in Pennsylvania is actually RC, and that he killed himself. An obituary has been posted for RC Fox but it does not mention his cause of death. WikiFur has evidence that he died the day before his plea hearing.

I think one of the scariest things is that I've actually met this guy. Never expected this. Guess it just shows that literally anyone can be a sick fuck and you wouldn't know it.

I have a feeling that Dragoneer is much more likely than Kage. Name a senior who doesn't want a young woman, for one. However, considering how Hollywood and D.C. have pedo rings with the higher ups, I wouldn't be super surprised to have imitators on lower levels like "popufurs."

To my knowledge, plenty of furries, Kage included, like to take pictures with suits (especially if they're made well), and I don't think anything about the pedo stuff came out about RC until recently. Seriously, though, it's not like Kage is the guy's dad or anything. He may be responsible for his behavior at the con, or letting him do con business if he knew the guy was was a perv. There was some art of Rogue done a very long time ago where it credited a "S. Conway" for the character. Also, Rogue is about the same height as Kage, and you never see them in the same place at the same time.

It's less of a rumor and more of a worst-kept secret.

If you have CP, your case is pretty much over. Not only is your image in the fandom permanently ruined, but nobody likes pedophiles. If you're a pedophile, you're likely to get a long sentence in a prison where you're guaranteed to be raped, assaulted, and possibly killed while the guards turn the other way. It's also oftentimes a sign something else was going on, especially if said CP involved the person who possessed it.

Furthermore, RC Fox was in his 30s. He wasn't some teenager taking dickpics and sexting them, he was in his 30s. His case was a home run for the prosecution most likely.
