You have a few options:

1. They don't go outside, they just take online classes or are NEETs.
2. They are shrinking violets IRL who cannot ask anyone to use their correct pronouns except friends and a few adults they feel like won't yell at them. These are more common than you think, and lots of drama can happen from a circle of pronoun users without one or both of the parents knowing that their child likes to go by they/their and kit/kitself. These people could bark up a storm online and shit their pants and cry in person, or they could be quiet online and in person. The former is usually funnier.
3. They are obnoxious IRL but toned down to each set of IRL people's bullshit level. An obnoxious carrd person would make their inner circle of friends call them kit/kitself, agree with them on whatever they say, preach about sjw topics, and force their friends to never say trigger words like a ship they don't like or a former friend's name. They wouldn't do the same for authority though, instead would settle on they/them, the struggles of being nonbinary, and try to gain as much pity and babying without being told they're too much or are going too far. These types tend to be crybullies.
4. Autistically unaware and just exist like this IRl (rare, but happens).

Because they're always funny, I decided to share some personal highlights from the blocked section. (archive) It reads like a glorified DNI, with mentions that anyone who isn't a leftist shouldn't interact (while also not wanting people who "believe in" echo chambers to interact... wonder why).

This last one gets me because, as a dog person myself, someone not wanting their dog on their furniture is perfectly reasonable. I don't agree with the decision myself, but it's not cruel to not let your dog up on your couch or bed.
