Carson King / CallMeCarson / CallMeCarsonYT - Minecraft YouTuber, trades nudes with underage fans

This makes me irrationally angry. You can tell from his texts and his pics that he's just a weird dude that fell into fame. He's got absolutely no fucking game (talking about his untrimmed and unwashed bush as a ways of flirting, fucking ugh) and his options are probably really, really limited irl. I think it's wrong to crucify him for "lmao fuck anyone else lmao" when he obviously cannot. If he can, they will very likely be significantly less attractive than some hot piece of ass that is into his autismvids.

Maybe he is a groomer. Maybe there's real victims out there that are like 13-14. Right now it looks like people are bullying some weirdo because he's kinda weird and was trying to smash someone that was 17 years and 364 days old when he was 19.

If you're 17 and some Youtuber is creeping you out in DM's, block them. Stop trying to interact with any low grade e-celeb you can find. You're not 12 you're 17.
B-but maybe I can use this for clout in a few months when I "suddenly realise" that I was being groomed! I will get all of the likes and the retweets and the hugs in replies!

The acceptable age gap has narrowed considerably since the mid 20th century. Both my folks and the in-laws have 10 year age gaps between the spouses. That kind of gap was seen as normal even as recently as the 90's.

My tinfoil conspiracy is that this is a ploy by Big Feminism to scare men into dating older and older women. Don't want to be a pedo? Then date the cat lady.
Fuck dude. When my dad was 49 he married a woman that was 32. That was just fucking cool back in the day. Nobody gave half a fuck. His wife's parents were just glad she married someone successful. I mean, it was weird as fuck but you're absolutely right. It is only okay to fuck someone your age it seems, and just barely. If you fuck outside your race you are also committing a crime by fetishizing them or whatever.

"Grooming" and "Carson" are trending :story:

Even an age difference between a seventeen-year-old and a twenty-year-old isn't alarming. They're still in the same age group, and at seventeen you'd just be about ready to graduate and go out on your own in life. Cheating and pursuing other girls on the side doesn't make him a groomer, it just makes him an asshole. They're completely different ballgames.

And as for persistently asking for nudes, the BLOCK and REMOVE buttons exist for a reason. If she really was uncomfortable, regardless of whether he was a Youtuber or just some creep on Discord, she should have done that instead of pursuing the conversation.

Everyone needs a reason to be upset at something, nowadays. "Groomer" and "pedophile" aren't terms that should be thrown around lightly for the sake of scoring victim points. All of this just seems like a long fucking reach to me.

At this point, I won't be surprised to find yet another YouTuber accused of grooming next week. Goddamn, feels like this shit's gone into full throttle for 2020, and is only going to accelerate in 2021.

That being said, the 2 year age gap isn't that big of a deal IMO, Puppychan was 18 and she still played the minor card for her fuckups.

Convenient how everybody talking about 17yos with 19yos is ignoring the power dynamic somebody like a big youtuber has over a fan. Nobody is arguing over that specific part, but if you look in the DMs he's incredibly aggressive with getting nudes from uncomfortable underage girls who are interesting in him clearly, but don't feel comfortable. There's no way currently to tell if he's broken the law but based on the phonecall he had in March with lunchclub members, it would imply he did but ultimately that's not something I can decide or know, let alone judge him for.
That's where the problem lies, did the girl feel uncomfortable and why? It's cause the DMs are creepy, he's forceful and he's attempting to use his influence to get nudes out of an underage girl. You as somebody with a big following, should in no way ever be asking an underage girl repeatedly for nudes. That's not normal behavior when you get denied repeatedly. He was evidently trying to use his status to get those pics. Personally, I wouldn't use terms like "groom", but I do strongly believe there was an abuse of power here and Carson is full in the wrong if these allegations are true.
From the dawn of the internet teenage boys have been trying to see the titties of teenage girls on it. Teenage boys put pressure on teenage girls for sex, that's a fact of life online or not. If she didn't like it she has a variety of options to block him and remove herself from the situation. He didn't reach out through the monitor and rip off her shirt like some kind of ghost busters villain. He kept trying and she said yes eventually.

Abuse of power is bullshit. He's a youtuber. He has very little power or influence and she's still 17 and capable of understanding flashing her tits to e celebs is a bad idea.
