on a more serious note, this thread seems to have devolved into people arguing the legality of the situation. i don't think this is the issue here. as everyone has pointed out a trillion times, 19 and 17 isn't a big age gap, 17 year old nudes are still , women have the mental capacity to make their own decisions, don't fuck your fans, yadda yadda. everyone is just parrotting what has already been said.

the main issue imo is the morality of carson pressuring an underage fan to send him nudes. is it morally right for him to have done this? i personally don't think so. i also don't think this warrants being thrown in jail or taken off the platform, either.

the thing that perplexes me is why this broke up the lunch club. it doesn't seem like a huge deal to me, at least not enough to warrant slime flat out leaving lunch club. i feel like we're missing something here.

The ages are irrelevant really, and as such it becomes a question of whether using fame to illicit nudes is okay?

Like how did he pressure her, did he just ask? If so, who cares. As long as what he did doesnt rise to the level of coercive behaviour - who fucking cares?!

So either there is more to this, or there are a bunch of people who want to ruin this guy by making a legal issue of a horny teenager sexting with a girl who is practically his age.

As for the CP angle, come the fuck on. Clearly, people of that age will send nudes to each other. What are all the people below 18 who do that all child pornographers? Are you on smack? The law may technically be there, but there is zero public interest in prosecuting such a case. It will destroy a life and for what exactly?

Actual fully fledged adults who are taking Carson to town on this need to seriously question why a few shekels are worth ruining someone who is basically a child for absolutely nothing.

I haven't seen anyone post this yet, but there is a second accusor on Twitter. I'm new to archiving but here's an archive of her tweet. I don't know why people call him a pedophile or say he was abusing his power. I've seen evidence of neither. While technically it is illegal to sext a 17 year old, most of us agree that a 17 and 19 year old together isn't that weird.

If the evidence does come out that he was abusing his power then I'll freely admit he's a creep. However, knowing what I know about Carson's love life (or lack there of) he was probably lonely willing to attach to any female attention.

This is a good point that shouldn't be glossed over. Pressuring a *fan*, actually pressuring anyone, into giving him nudes is what is disgusting and morally corrupt. It doesn't warrant jail time or being taken down off of platforms, but it needs to be addressed.

Because if it's just this, it sure as hell is getting blown out of proportion IMO. Both of them are using a joking tone like this with each other throughout these screenshots. "lmao nooo stop skdfnkjgnf" and similar would not come across as a serious "I'm uncomfortable with that question, please don't ask again" statement to many people.

I might be late to the party since I don't follow Carson, but I think the cover up and back stab is far more lulz worthy than his 2 yr younger fwb or whatever. I didn't realize the Katerina thing was a giant smoke screen and wasn't even real LOL.

His friends jumped to push this story out that they allegedly have been sitting on for a while and they shat it out on Keemstar's show for vague reasons now because? I think that says a lot about them tbh.

I wonder if Keem and co. have more information than they're letting on and this drama will snowball.

Reminder to never make 'friends' with youtubers I guess. They'll jump on any little chance to stab you in the back to get a little more fame or good guy points, like what happened to Slazo or Projared.

Some people are claiming Sam's allegations are bullshit and the account she used was fake, using two "i"s. It's pretty doubtful both Carson and this person got nitro on November 4th. Sam's allegations were definitely the most questionable part, it's possible his former youtube friends could be gayoping him but that seems really extensive.

This guy pops up in my youtube recommendations sometimes but I have not watched any of his videos. My only input is that the 107 hours on the pregnancy video game is possibly a fluke. I have some weird hours on some steam games just because sometimes they don't close properly and are left open overnight or I am running a steam card farmer.
