This is the thing, if they didn't sperg about politics all we would care about is how cool their drawings are. I remember back then when the political brainrot did not take root yet, animation people were really open and helpful. The now common place "celebrity/show runner fighting their own audience" was basically unheard of.
The block button revealed the true nature of many, if they can gain any itty-bitty piece of power, they will just abuse it. If they were not power tripping, they wouldn't announce it to people who cannot see or reply.
Christ Almighty have mercy on us. There’s a french creator named Thomas Astruc that acts exactly like this, especially in relation to the block button. I thought he was unique a guy that got too big an ego, and didn’t know how to act or be decent to people online, but no, apparently it’s just industry wide rot at this point.
