I love this Honey Badger guy so much, he nuked Alex HARD.
Honestly, it's so satisfying to see someone directly confront Alex and call him out on his bullshit.

It's also really telling that whereas Badger uses proper arguments to defend his points, Alex just resorts to childish Ad Hominem attacks and accusations. Shit like "you're just bootlicking the government!" and "Oh, so you want the government to EXECUTE civillians?". It's so fucking pathetic, just straight-up middle school level debate tactics. The fact that he immediately resorts to insulting Badger and dishonestly rephrasing his arguments is a clear sign of his low intelligence.

Alex really is just another out-of-touch nepo baby. He has very little knowledge of the world around him, outside of what he sees on legacy media and his Twitter feed. The man will gladly slurp up whatever slopaganda is spoon-fed to him and then regurgitate it without a second thought.

Alex's manner of speaking is indicative of both his naive, self-absorbed arrogance as well as his smug, willful ignorance. Extremely condescending and childish.
Fucking hell, this man is 40 but he talks like a 9 year-old. You can tell that the fucker coasted life on Easy Mode and never had to struggle for anything.

Also, has anyone else noticed that he kinda looks like Daniel Larson?

That was nearly 3 years ago. Does this guy not hve anything to do? Go pitch a show to Glitch Productions or something insted of arguing with faggots online
Pretty sure he and other creators were doing some shit with Netflix but it’s safe to say we’re never getting it.

So alex hirsch posted this to xitter 2 days ago, most of the comments are just asspats that "alex is the goat, he's the best animator of all time, etc etc."
There is this one user who does that everytime alex make a political statement and he goes and posts it to his community tab. He's so petty he'll go and make 30 minuet rant videos on anti woke xitter users with 5 followers and he also posts tweets from xitter users who says something he disagrees with on his community tab. He put one of my tweets on there once.

Pretty accurate - everybody only remembers Hirsch for Gravity Falls, and vice-versa; Did he do any work outside of it at all, prior and after it ended?
I was actually curious about this so I looked it up and aside from a bunch of voice roles he's done writing on an animated Netflix series called "Inside Job" which was cancelled after one season and forgotten about. He also has an untitled Netflix show that is supposedly coming up but it has no release date, or any information whatsoever for that matter. Maybe he could get more done if he spent less time virtue signaling and arguing with nobodies on Twitter?

i know retards are going to say that alex ratioed him but the guy doesn't have as big of a following as him
I do wonder how cartoonists get such a big online following in the first place. Granted, alex is one of the more famous ones since gravity falls was such a big hit, but even then only fairly online active cartoon fans actually know who he is.

For most of these other guys i cant imagine anyone knowing them by name aside from calarts graduates trying to get into the industry. And they tweet about their opinions more than they post drawings/animations too like anyone gaf. Who the fuck is owen dennis and why does he even have a professional account using his full name/identity if hes using it to politicalpost about venezuale for 5 likes.

So - only one finished project, which isn't that great (IMHO).

He helped write for dective pikachu
Ew.

Yeah it's pretty obvious he made one successful series then decided to rest on his laurels fellating himself on Twitter and doing a voice role here and there. Whatever passion and talent he had in 2012 probably isn't there anymore.
Funnily enough his ex-gf (dana terrance) (together 2015-2022) seems way more active in the animation scene after presumably using him for her leg up (which he deserves since hes a creep for fucking what was basically his intern). Owl House is more recent than gravity falls (2020-2023) and shes already working on something new with glitch with a pilot out.
Granted neither seem particularly good but at least shes staying busy, meanwhile the gravity falls finale was a full decade ago and the only real thing of relevance hes done since then has been releasing companion books to gravity falls lol.

I remember these lovely posts from Dana, where she had her mati moment on xitter.

He was the executive producer for Inside Job, which was a shitty overrated Netflix show from 2021.
Inside Job sucks so bad, dude. It's like someone took concentrated Reddit humor, right down to the quirkily incompetent straight man, and made an ass-ugly show out of it. You can't even goon to it, cementing it as a forgotten bit of history.
He'll continue to do it even after the term is over or something happens.
A lot of these cartoonists see themselves as the propagandistic vanguard of the neolib agenda, which they view as the unstoppable force of social progress since about 1960. Trump's election and re-election is a direct refutation of their entire ethos. They *will* cope and seethe about him until their dying breath.
I do wonder how cartoonists get such a big online following in the first place.
Cartoons are primarily enjoyed by children, some teenagers, and unemployed 20-somethings: the perfect candidates for terminally online Twitter addiction.
