Damn, was unaware it had gotten that bad.
Disney used to have valid hit after hit, but at some point they just started sucking. Around 2013 they started to falter and stuff's gotten gradually worse. They had some real big hits like Frozen and Inside Out, but they started putting out more and more sequels (Finding Dory, Incredibles 2,) and uninspired woke-poisoned originals (Raya, Strange World), and even when they had half-decent movies they were overshadowed by controversy or not marketed at ALL so nobody saw them (Elemental.) Now it's like, "oh here's the latest soulless corporate bullshit from Disney, maybe it'll be a 6/10 and you can play it at the child dentist's office."

I mean, what was the last Disney movie to actually make a cultural change vs the last one they released, y'know?

Encanto, which was a one off.

And arguably Zootopia 2, which is handily beating the new Avatar in box office.

I still haven't seen Zootopia 2. Is it worth it?
Saw it, it's more of the same: about same quality of animation, same quality of puns, story's nearly identical all the way to the twist villain. You aren't missing anything, but if you liked the first, you'll like the second.

Also, I thought reptile hyperborea was hilarious at the end of the movie.

Something else about battle for dream island is that it also has started having conventions and guest stars like Kevin Macleod (the generic youtube music guy, because that's where all the music for these retarded shows are sourced from) boyinaband (he was never taught what laws there are, idubbbz collaborator, britfag sex pest), Rosie O'Donnell (gay, fat, new york woman with a severe case of trump derangement syndrome), someone from the try guys, tomska, jacksfilms, the guy who made homestar runner, and other people
Here's a video on the guests that have appeared on the retarded object show
And heres a video on their 2025 Houston convention
Its quite literally a massive autistic cult entirely full of either man-children in their 20s-30s or little kids. @assclown knows more about this shit than me being that he's rewriting a prospering grounds thread on this community.
Rosie Odonnell has a non binary kid who is 12 years old. Also recently they showed an episode in movie theaters. And a kickvic person is a voice actor in one of the shows

Wake up chumps! The second ep of "Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want to Be a Magical Girl" has hit the Internet.

... 2 mins in, and I'm already getting tortured by the "quirky chungus" humor.

Man, I aggressively do not care about this series
I won't lie, I was really curious and wondered if the second ep would actually be... not crap. But it somehow managed to be substantially worse than the already bad pilot, watching the ep felt like torture.

Just be ready for the imminent people that this show will spawn, because I know for sure that we will be seeing a bunch of video essays titled "How Kiana Khansmith SAVED Indie Animation."

At least the tree monster looked cool.

I saw that on twitter today. Did the creator make a gofundme that failed a few years ago

I forgot this existed. Listen, I didn't watch, yet:

If it isn't even properly animated, why... air it at all? And aren't these woke niggers proud of their heritage or something? Why not make it about "majickal" africans or something? Make something different: a mutt who has to travel to some """Wakanda""" and wake up powers and fight some other evil negro.

Make something different
It wouldn't be as satisfying if it didn't trash down a classic genre with white characters and straight relationships. No, mahou shoujo was never a "mainly lesbian genre", until men found it.

Like most shoujo, it had focused on straight romance for girls, and most lefties still work hard to rewrite history by using cherry-picked side character examples.

It is indeed her heritage though, Kiana Khansmith is half-Japanese if my memory serves me right.

Anyways, that show is boring but harmless. It's the same as every preteen slop cartoon Disney Channel has been producing these past few years, to the point I'm surprised she didn't try to offer it to the network rather than going indie. The characters are very uninteresting, there seems to be no real stakes or overaching plot, and the animation is, well... inexistant. I'm not even sure where the magical girl parody part is, it's just tropes taken straight and the humor comes mostly from the slapstick.

The hype around it feels mostly forced by Kiana's friends in the animation industry, and I don't see it getting much hype organically, or at least not the cult following other indie shows usually get. The only refreshing part about it is that is doesn't try to pretend to be an adult show with swears or sex jokes. It's also not pandering as of yet, even if the lesbians are probably inevitable considering it's Kiansmith we're talking about.

At the end of the day, not going to keep an eye on it but not going to hate on it either. I'd rather have kids watch this than Hazbin Hotel, and black cartoons be about magical girls rather than reparations and "white people bad" like the Proud Family reboot.

Has she ever lived in Japan? Does she have contact with her Japanese relations living in Japan? Has she ever partaken in Japanese culture?

Or is she actually an American who's desperate to prove that she isn't?

Her mother is Japanese and her TikTok famous brother often post videos with their Japanese relatives. With how Japanese parents tend to be I'm guessing it was indeed part of her culture growing up, I remember her mentioning watching Pokémon in Japanese as a child.

There is definitively some larp to it but let's not act like she came out of the Bronx either.
