As much as I like Toby, I am unsurprised at this development. Toby does not keep very good company if you know where to look.
Just as an example, a (short) music track in DELTARUNE is actually ripped from something horrible.
Shit. Nevermind. Upon further inspection, he COMPOSED THE SOUNDTRACK to something horrible.
Ok, the game itself appears to be innocuous. The developer's other games however - are explicitly terrible. The art and writing team for this specific game seem to be guests but the main developers still worked on it.

Considering what i've been seeing in some of these new Spongebob and Patrick Star Show episodes....
Same. I did enjoy most of Season 4 honestly, but even as a kid back then, I knew the show was going already downhill. Seasons 1-3 and the first movie will always be my SpongeBob.
