I always thought commies were anti-copyright, so it’s odd that they would kvetch so much over AI-voice shit.

Actually this gets me thinking, I always thought that the ideal future commies have in mind is some Star Trek bs where all the blue-collar jobs are automated, killing off all the obsolete flyover-state mayo ghouls and Le enlightened intellectuals can focus on artistic pursuits. But instead it seems that automation is set to destroy artistic pursuits just as much as manufacturing jobs.

He did get upset over Netflix using a bunch of cheap sound-a-likes for the War of Cybertron Trilogy (for a G1 inspired series you'd think they would get every surviving G1 and BW voice for it), but he never attacked the new guy doing Optimus's voice. These new VA artists should take a page out Peter and Frank's book on class.
 
Now whenever I hear Daffys voice i’m gonna think about how much of a bitch who blacklists people for petty shit her VA is. God damn it.

I hope AI destroys her and people like her to the point they lose all their money.

I love that AI is making these voice actors irrelevant. For years these self-righteous cunts thought that they were on par with the likes of Tom Cruise for voicing some shitty anime dub or god awful children's cartoon or video game character only for them to realize that they are bottom of the barrel D-List celebs who can easily be replaced by a AI. Their anger and kvetching over the coming loss of whatever fame and influence they have is pure schadenfreude shot straight into the veins.
 
Guys the VAs will be as successful in preventing the studios from using AI just as Streisand is able to prevent people from posting photos of her house.

Seems SJWs are very pro-copyright. To a point where they think intangible culture itself can be property of "marginalized groups" in perpetuity ("cultural appropriation").
 
Gee, maybe if they had allowed new blood to come into the industry so they could professionally pass the torch to them and retire quietly with their money, nobody would be cheering on for the rise of AI to fuck them over.

But that would require mentally and emotionally graduating high school.
 
Have any Vtubers complained about AI yet? It seems AI would do the gay baby voices and act vapid and dumb just as well.

She is. She stated that voice actors need to use their platform to promote equity, inclusivity and trans rights. Yes, she is also a raging handmaiden. She is blissfully unaware that voice actors like her using their platforms to promote shit like getting children their tits and dicks chopped off is why many people have no sympathy for her or her colleagues and want them to lose everything to AI.

I think that's mainly because Peter is a professional with decades of experience. He understands how this industry works and how ultimately everyone is replaceable. Plus he doesn't use Twitter so he hasn't suffered from the social media-induced brain rot that's seemed to have driven so many other VA's and other performers batshit.

I don't think VTubers are under any threat from AI - at least not yet - simply because VTubers' entire schtick revolves around real-time streaming and interaction. AI can do some fairly convincing pre-recorded voice performances, but it's not advanced enough to be able to respond to donos and chat messages in real time. Certainly not in any way that would be convincing.

Well, automation destroys artists... Shitty artists, that is. That's why they're bitching. Their source of status and income is threatened, the "drawslave" class and it's derivatives in other fields is about to be defenestrated. They know they can't compete with either real, great artists, or mass-produced AI "goyslop art" - they're fucked.
 
I'm still glad AI is going to take over the industry and all these bitchass fanfiction writers and animators will finally lose their jobs and their homes.
