Should've done Healthcare first you stupid bitch. Now you'll be in more debt 😆
At least it’s something in demand that pays. Lord knows what would have happened if she reached for the stars and went with animation. Likely would have gotten kicked back down into the dirt.

Decided to look up James Woods (did the art on the right page), and I found his Instagram:

Rapists make it so fucking obvious these days that I'm surprised anyone still gets raped.
Hey there!, a friend of mine told me you guys liked my rather crude comic so I made an account right now just to say thanks. I'm thinking of doing more that tackle similar toon industry subjects in the future. Especially as the western animation industry continues to go down the shitter. It could make for some exciting stuff. also, sorry that some of you encountered my fast array of furry smut, that stuff isn't for everyone. I'm a degenerate for cartoon animal women unfortunately. But hey it could be worse.

anyways cheers!,

Monkey's paw: it's in the ugliest 2d artstyle and the writing is still libshit written garbage
The real monkey's paw is that whatever new 2D project they shart out will be AI generated, or at least heavily AI assisted, the way they describe it as being "bonkers amazing" makes it seem like they'll unveil it as a "new technological step in animation". Boardroom executives love AI, just the word alone is like crack-cocaine to them - and lord knows they already love that.

My only question about it is.... what's the catch? What's the bullshit attached to it that we have to deal with to get it back.
The catch is that IF it does happen, it's just going to be in that gay grubhub/beanmouth style that all of the Disney and Pixar's current "original" films are in. I don't think there's any old talent left at either company that can draw or animated in the art direction that people actually grew up with and liked.

Wasn't this chick the art director for those shorts about how viewers must "SAVE ANIMATION" when it was actually just a thiny veiled backdoor pilot for that ice cream haircut douche Adam Conover's next animated project? Best part is that those cartoons and whatever this was did nothing to change their bosses minds and they just kept cancelling shit anyways

I'm slightly torn up about this project because those little informational cartoon shorts were very well done and the characters are well designed. If she stuck in her lane she would probably be a top tier commercial animator, but it's all somehow trumped by the unholy desire to bitch and make gay porn with characters that are perfectly made for a 90s TV ad. What a waste.

Never trust a fujoshit doing anything right.

They only think about one thing and that destroys any creativity they may have had otherwise.

That's the one positive I can give those shorts, the character designs are actually pretty good, a nice callback to those 50s/60s commercials that used the UPA look. It's just that they are used for the absolute worst shit imaginable. The best artists can also be the biggest idiots, especially when they have a chance to show their true voice to the public.

Fujoshis spend so much time thinking about boys doing cutesy gay things that they forget their initial goal was to spread awareness among normies about their working conditions, most of which would find that stuff weird. It's not really surprising that media campaign crashed and burned hard.

Agree because currently, K-Pop Demon Hunters are being talked about partly because of the appealing character designs and not weird corporate bobbly ones Disney goes with in their new projects. if Disney just made an original movie with an art style where everyone is hot, make the villain irredeemable, have a hetero romance of the same race center-stage (most people in the world date in their race and are straight, shocker $$$) and made it a 2d musical, even if it’s dogshit it would save their animation studio’s reputation for a short period of time and there would be buzz about how Disney is going back to their roots and putting out original content for once. Also tiktokers will make thirst edits of the hot characters and fanfic writers would rewrite the story (kinda like how Wish was with Starboy and Asha) which would continue the staying power of the movie.

I'm not a fan of most recent 3D films, but yeah other studios are doing a better job at branching out into different art styles, Dreamworks in particular is a good example. Like it's obvious to anyone that Bad Guys, Dogman and The Wild Robot don't share the same art style at all. Even the upcoming Shrek film looks more cartoony from what they were known for two decades prior. Meanwhile Disney is just stuck in an eternal rut where they refuse to adapt. They can only bank off nostalgia and nothing else. That's why they are heavily focused on live action remakes and sequels as of late. Because those are the only films of theirs people will actually watch. Nobody can really relate to the ugly grubhub monstrosities that have been pushed for the last couple years
