Kasey is so close, yet so far from the truth as to why people aren't seeing these original stories. It's to be expected Disney/Pixar was just going to blame the audiences for not going to see their shitty movies, they completely lack the ability to soul-search and self-reflect on the why instead of the what.
Now that Pixar has fallen from grace, I think the next real shit-test is Shrek 5. The Shrek franchise makes big bank, but the backlash over the teaser trailer was so bad DreamWorks has had to delay the movie's release a second time, so it won't be until June 2027 before it comes out. It's possible there was already a test screening and that may be why it got pushed back, but we will not get to hear about it until after the movie's release unless some brave soul risks leaking details.
