She also stated that she has a piece of herself in all 3 of the crystal gems too. I remember the arts and origins book stating she wanted to originally push for greg and pearl to be together, but knew there would be backlash

Yeah I think that's accurate. People were pissed that Pearl could possibly have been bisexual (like Sugar is), but as of right now that's not confirmed.
 
Not a lore expert but if Stephen's dad killed Rose with his penis, does this mean that Stephen could just end the crystal gem threat by having sex with them all?

I agree with this, telepurte isnt a animator in the industry, hes a colombian smut artist who made videos youtube, tiktok and xitter that borderlined on almost being porn (in the most literal sense of him making an animation of his stand in walking on a line that is in between sfw and nsfw, that and his patreon and some of his xitter having porn already) if he was an actual animator that had some type of history with the studios or production companies then that would be different.

I think that's normal for an artist creating anything, to have a piece of themselves in their characters. Who you are and what you've experienced informs your art. I thought the whole Greg/Pearl thing was just a hypothetical that never even went into the show, like just spitballing ideas.

Ya, as an artist myself, I'm aware it's normal. Iirc, Mr. Greg was supposed to end with them together and kissing or something. I gotta look through my arts and origins book to find that page

It's simple, really. Show, don't tell. Wanting to give characters depth is a good thing, but it takes effort. If Telepurte's intention was to show that the characters he's made are more than masturbation material, he should have created art that focused on aspects of them other than sex appeal. He was either too unimaginative, coombrained, or lazy to take that route and instead had an OC soapbox directly to the audience.

What rabid defenders don't understand about the controversy is that these aren't real women, but cartoon characters designed as shallow, sexualized caricatures. Detractors weren't upset because they thought the emotions of real women didn't matter; they felt like they were being condescended to in a way that was undeserved. Telepurte's brand was never delivering heartfelt female characters that the audience could connect with on a visceral level, so it came across as disingenuous grandstanding and maligning the audience as sexist.
