It is a joke. What are you talking about?

He hasn't made any cartoons lately. He just does drama crap as usual, but keeps a low profile.
Liam's comment made me think it was real, he said Chazington has funny videos. Maybe I'm just retarded, idk.

Chazington is a zoomer YouTuber who mostly makes video essays on random stuff he cares about, with 2010s YouTube being a recurring topic. The videos he makes are not serious at all and full of reference humor.

Also, have any of you noticed how whenever an old cartoon becomes public domain, only shitty horror movies are made with them? Will we ever get any worthwhile animation with formerly copyrighted content before Superman becomes public domain in 2034?

People that like horror is the only audience that no matter how bad the movie is meanwhile it has some morbid scenes they will consume it and sometimes call it a cult classic, not saying it's bad really it's just and acquired taste of slop, thats why analog horror became so popular on youtube

The Avatar films achieved significant box office
success primarily due to strong performances in China and international markets. Currently, both markets are showing greater interest in Zootopia 2 rather than Dances with Smurfs. James Cameron acting like a nigger over Zootopia 2 being more popular and profitable than Avatar 3.

I feel like the only "new" thing to do with Winnie The Pooh is horror. Otherwise any cute and non-subversive story has already been told by Disney for the last 70 years. Especially when it's so specific on what version of Pooh you can use vs. what Disney still claims ownership of (the red shirt, for instance.)

I imagine a talented team could take a Beatrix Potter aesthetic approach and pull literally every visual element from the classic book illustrations. It would have a very gentle, classic BBC vibe, and could connect with an audience….

…. If audiences hadn’t already become turbojaded about classic property revivals, AND if the main conduits for children’s entertainment weren’t big corporate streamers like Disney+ and fucking YouTube pushing lowest common denominator Cocomelon shit.
I mean, that’s the response that I imagine most people working in Hollywood would give you.

However I’m not that jaded, yet.

IF you made it UNUSUALLY well, and UNUSUALLY cheaply,* and set something up with some sort of ad revenue driven channel like Tubi, AND figured out an economical way to make it go sufficiently viral through the appropriate circles on social media to get the word out to the right people, THEN it could work.

It’s not impossible. It’s just incredibly difficult. That’s why this stuff isn’t happening these days.

*These variables represent areas where AI could theoretically crack things wide open, provided it gets used intelligently by talented people. Big ifs.

I've never met an actual person in real life who remembers or cares about Avatar.

I remember, and care, that fucking grandma's boy was in there and everyone just watched him like that wasn't completely ruining the whole thing even more than michelle rodriguez playing a parody of herself or sigourney weaver's complete inability to deliver a single line.
