Nimona is probably one of the few examples where the movie adaptation of a comic unironically looks better than the original, even if it's just in a diet Disney style. Speaking of which, I'm actually kind of surprised Noelle even landed a gig on a show like Wander over Yonder when you consider that Craig McCracken is an accomplished artist with a wide range while Noelle can only really draw the same face and body type.If I'm going to put things bluntly, I really hate Stevenson's art style. Even back when I read Nimona and liked it, I still thought Noelle's art was extremely unimpressive - looked like a diet flavored Adventure Time [and that's saying something, cause I was never a big fan of AT's art style either].
My God, this art has aged terribly.
