Not sure how well an ACAB message comes across from characters who are themselves caricatures of an uncaring criminal justice system. I also find Superjail ugly and unfunny, so there's that.

Superjail is the same as ATHF where the only way to appreciate it outside of one-off lines is to be baked out of your mind and half retarded.

ATHF has funny moments but 99% of the show is not memorable or funny in any way unless you're some kind of junkie.

Thank you, I fucking despised that series the moment I set eyes upon it. Didn't help that there were a load of people who found amusing to draw fanart and were teenagers. That was back in... 2010?

You just reminded me that there's an episode where The Warden sees a timeline where he becomes a dictator who commits various atrocities, even separating families in concentration camps. He then celebrates conquering the world with a fast food slop feast, just like Drumpf's White House Mcdonald's feast.. and The Warden thinks it's the most awesome thing ever.

I liked the "sanser" episode where a little girl with cancer accidentally got dropped in Superjail and the inmates were really sweet to her (then proceeded to kill everyone around when she inevitably died.) I spent that entire episode so tense they'd hurt the little girl, it was a relief when they didn't.

I love SuperJail, but this is just your typical, lazy TDS shit where the creator uses their characters to project their political beliefs. If anything, the Warden, Jared, Jailbot and all the others would be absolutely in favor of ICE and would even bring it to an extreme conclusion. That's the whole point of them. They're brutal and extremely authoritarian while also being eccentric.

Also ive always been a Noelle Stevenson hater, especially for shitting all over the original shera while making the reboot, as well as that reboot in general just being ass all around, it was pretty much unwatchable. And the main ship is unironically abusive and only has like 2 seconds of redemption arc but gets away with it because 'lesbians'. And it manages to look ever more ass than beanmouth animation.

Say about rebecca sugar what you want, but steven universe for all its faults is at least an original ip with some original worldbuilding, some interesting character designs, nice songs, and a few funny writing moments. And it left at least some impact on the culture, albeit in the form of memes about steven defending hitler but still, shera reboot was barely relevant when it was actually releasing and disappeared into the void the moment it was over.
